Burgos Club de Fútbol, S.A.D. is a Spanish football team based in Burgos, in the autonomous community of Castile and León. Founded in 1985, it started to play in 1994. It currently plays in Segunda División, holding home matches at the Estadio El Plantío, with a capacity of 12,646.

The 2001–02 Segunda División season saw 22 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. The teams that promoted to La Liga were Atlético Madrid, Racing de Santander and Recreativo de Huelva. The teams that relegated to Segunda División B were Burgos CF, Gimnàstic de Tarragona, CF Extremadura and Real Jaén.

The 2008–09 Segunda División B season was the 32nd since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 30 August 2008, and the season ended on 21 June 2009 with the promotion play-off finals.

It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the Primera División and the Segunda División, and above the Tercera División. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams. As of the 2023-24 season, its successors are the Primera Federación and the Segunda Federación.
