CSI: Miami hosted several crossover episodes during its ten seasons on air. Gary Sinise, as Detective Mac Taylor, and Melina Kanakaredes as his partner, Detective Stella Bonasera, were introduced during a 2004 episode of CSI: Miami, as were the rest of the CSI: NY cast. She is known for her roles as Connie Rubirosa for the final 4 seasons of the initial run of the NBC television series Law & Order, as well as in the spinoffs Law & Order: LA and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also portrayed Marisol Delko-Caine on CSI: Miami. In 2014 and 2015, she starred as Detective Jo Martinez in the ABC series Forever. From 2016 to 2017, she starred in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders as Special Agent Clara Seger. In 2019, she began starring as SAC Isobel Castille on FBI, a role she also plays on the spin-off series FBI: Most Wanted.

"CSI: Trilogy" is a three-part crossover of the American police procedural television franchise CSI that aired on CBS from November 9 to 12, 2009. The seventh episodes of the 2009–2010 season had continuing stories with Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Raymond Langston in all three. The episodes are the CSI: Miami episode "Bone Voyage" broadcast on November 9, the CSI: NY episode "Hammer Down" broadcast on November 11, and the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "The Lost Girls" broadcast on November 12. In the story, Raymond's search for a lost girl turns into a race as he discovers she is part of a black market human trafficking ring and has been forced to become a surrogate mother. As she travels from Miami to New York to Las Vegas, he works with the other CSIs to find her.
