The Cree are a North American Indigenous people. They live primarily in Canada, where they form one of that country's largest First Nations.
The Innu / Ilnu or Innut / Innuat / Ilnuatsh ("people"), formerly called Montagnais from the French colonial period, are the Indigenous inhabitants of territory in the northeastern portion of the present-day province of Quebec and some eastern portions of Labrador. They refer to their traditional homeland as Nitassinan or Innu-assi.
The Naskapi are a Cree ethnic group and people native to the historical country St'aschinuw, which is located in northern Quebec and Labrador, neighbouring Nunavik. They are closely related to Innu Nation, who call their homeland Nitassinan.

Kawawachikamach is a Naskapi/Iyiyiw First Nations reserve and community at the south end of Lake Matemace, approximately 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of Schefferville, Quebec, Canada. It belongs to the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach. The village was built by the Naskapi/Iyiyiw from 1980 to 1983. The language spoken is Iyiyiw-Imuun, a dialect closely related to Innu and Iynu. The name means "the winding river".
Matimekosh is a First Nations reserve on Lake Pearce in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada. Together with the Lac-John Reserve, it belongs to the Innu Nation of Matimekush-Lac John. It is an enclave in the centre of the Municipality of Schefferville, and geographically within the Caniapiscau Regional County Municipality but administratively not part of it. Matimekosh means "small trout".
Lac-John is a First Nations reserve on John Lake in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada, about 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) north-east from the centre of Schefferville. Together with the Matimekosh Reserve, it belongs to the Innu Nation of Matimekush-Lac John. It is geographically within the Caniapiscau Regional County Municipality but administratively not part of it.
Kataskomiq is an Indian reserve listed by the Canadian Geographical Names Database. The reserve belongs to the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk (Viger) First Nation, Maliseet people. It is not listed by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada or the last two Canadian census. It is located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, geographically located within the territory of Rivière-du-Loup Regional County Municipality but is not legally part of it. Its population was 0 in the 2006 Canadian census and does not appear in either the 2011 or 2016 Canadian Census. Before 2021 it was known as Whitworth.
Kawawachikamach is a Naskapi village municipality in the territory of the Kativik Regional Government in northern Quebec; in fact, it is the only Naskapi village municipality, but nevertheless has a distinct legal status and classification from other kinds of village municipalities in Quebec: Cree village municipalities, northern villages, and ordinary villages.
Innus of Ekuanitshit are a First Nation band in Quebec, Canada. They live primarily in the Indian reserve of Mingan on the north coast of the St Lawrence River. As of October 2019, the band had a registered population of 677 members.
Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is a First Nation band government in Quebec, Canada. The members of the band are ethnically Naskapi Innu and speak the Naskapi language. The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is the only Naskapi band in Quebec; there is another Naskapi band, Mushuau Innu First Nation located in Labrador.
