This article lists players who have captained the senior Dublin county football team in the Leinster Senior Football Championship (SFC) and the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC). Unlike other counties the captain is not chosen from the club that has won the Dublin Senior Football Championship (SFC).

The Dublin Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top Dublin GAA clubs. The winners of the Dublin Championship qualify to represent their county in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The 2021 Leinster Senior Football Championship is the 2021 iteration of the Leinster Senior Football Championship organised by Leinster GAA.

The 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club football tournament. It was the first club championship to be organised in two years as the 2020-21 championship was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The championship began on 21 November 2021 and ended on 12 February 2022.

The 2023 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 136th edition of the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament since its establishment in 1887. Thirty one of the thirty two Irish counties took part – Kilkenny did not compete, while London and New York completed the lineup.
