This is a list of characters from Frieren: Beyond Journey's End , a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. The character names are all German words.
A group of warriors that Frieren was part of. They journeyed together for ten years until accomplishing their mission of slaying the Demon King, after which they parted ways. Although the group disbanded at the beginning of the story, they appear regularly in flashbacks.
A race of monsters that once terrorized the world under the Demon King's leadership until the Hero Party slew him. Since then, weaker remnants of their forces have waged war against the other races. Demons are individualistic creatures whose societal hierarchy is based on power. While they can feel emotions, they do not feel the same emotions as humans do. As a result, they are incompatible with human ideas of morality and eventually pretend to display human emotions to deceive them.
The Seven Greater Demons were considered the most powerful among the Demon King's Forces. Three of them were slain by the Hero of the South several years before Himmel assembles his party to confront them.
The Shadow Warriors are an assassin organization commissioned by the Northern Empire decades prior to eliminate designated targets in secret as such they are adept at concealing mana which makes them a threat even to experienced mages. The Shadow Warriors have the authority to perform independently which sometimes leads them to conflict with other branches of the government's army such as the Special Forces of Magic.
Happiness! is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Windmill released on October 21, 2005 for Windows PCs. The game was later ported to the PlayStation 2. An adult fan disc titled Happiness! Re:Lucks was developed by Windmill's sister brand Windmill Oasis and released on July 28, 2006 for Windows. A manga illustrated by Rino Fujii was serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive between 2006 and 2007. A series of novels were published by Harvest between 2006 and 2008. A 12-episode anime produced by Artland aired in Japan between October and December 2006, and an original video animation episode followed in January 2007.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020; its chapters have been collected in 13 tankōbon volumes as of April 2024. The series is licensed for English release in North America by Viz Media and in Southeast Asia by Shogakukan Asia. Madhouse has produced an anime television adaptation, the first 28-episode season of which was broadcast from September 2023 to March 2024. A second season has been announced.

Frieren is the title character and protagonist of the Japanese manga series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, created by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Frieren is a former member of a party of adventurers led by the hero Himmel, who defeated the Demon King and restored harmony to the world after a ten-year quest. Reuniting with her former party fifty years later, Frieren discovers that her companions have distinctly aged, and Himmel dies of old age after one last adventure to see a meteor shower. During the funeral, Frieren expressed guilt for not attempting to learn more about him. Frieren then pays a visit to her other former comrades, and in the process takes on a human apprentice named Fern. She also receives an invitation to travel to the rumored resting place of souls in the far north, where she aims to see Himmel again, bid the hero a fitting farewell, and express her feelings. To fulfill those requests, Frieren embarks on a journey together with Fern while still pursuing her passion for learning magic.
