Wah Yan College Kowloon is a Catholic secondary school for boys run by the Chinese Province of the Society of Jesus. It is located in Kowloon, Hong Kong and is a grant-in-aid secondary school using English as the primary medium of instruction. The total land area of its campus is among the largest for Hong Kong secondary schools, and it’s one of the most prestigious schools in Hong Kong.
St Stephen's College is a Christian Direct Subsidy Scheme co-educational secondary school in Stanley, Hong Kong. With an area of about 150,000 m2, the college is the largest secondary school in Hong Kong, and is one of the very few boarding schools in the territory. Many buildings in the campus are listed in the list of historic Buildings and Declared Monuments by the Antiquities Advisory Board. When the college was founded in 1903, there were only six boarders and one day student; in the academic year 2014–2015, there were approximately 910 students studying in the college. The current principal is Ms. Carol C. Yang, commencing duty since 2011. St Stephen's College mainly uses English as a medium of instruction, and Chinese language for Chinese, Chinese history, Putonghua, visual arts and physical education. St Stephen's College is the first school in the territory having its own Heritage Trail in the school campus. The college's oldest building, the School House, was declared a monument in 2011, being one of the few schools in Hong Kong to own a Declared Monument in its campus.
Lawrence Lau Juen-yee, GBS, JP is a Hong Kong economist and the former Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was a non-official member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong from 2009 to 2012. Before joining CUHK he was an economics professor at Stanford University.

The Communications Authority is a statutory body responsible for licensing and regulating the broadcasting and telecommunications industries in Hong Kong. It was formed in 2012 through a merger of the Hong Kong Broadcasting Authority, Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority, and the Telecommunications Authority. The organisation is authorized to investigate complaints made regarding programmes, issue warnings and fines, or even suspend the license of the radio or television station.

Lam Tai-fai, SBS, BBS, JP is a Hong Kong politician. He serves as Chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Chairman of the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI). He was a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for the Industrial Functional Constituency from 2008 to 2016. In 2008 he began service as a committee member on the 11th, 12th and 13th National Committees of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and as a standing member of the 11th and in 2009 joined 12th Henan Provincial Committees of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) is a private university in Hong Kong located in Siu Lek Yuen, Sha Tin, New Territories. It was founded as Hang Seng Management College in 2010 by the Hang Seng School of Commerce and was granted university title in 2018.
The Education functional constituency, formerly called Teaching from 1985 to 1995, is a functional constituency in the elections for the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It was one of the 12 functional constituency seats created for the 1985 Legislative Council election. Since 1998, It has been the functional constituency with the most registered voters, including registered teachers, principals, managers of schools, full-time academic staff, members of the councils of the universities in Hong Kong and board of governors of the institutes of higher educations. In 2020, it had 85,698 registered voters, as compared to the Finance constituency who had only 121 voters.

He is a former Executive Vice President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and was the inaugural Secretary for Innovation and Technology, a post he held for five years to 2020.
