Night Terrors is a 1993 horror film directed by Tobe Hooper. It stars Robert Englund in a dual role, as both Chevalier and the Marquis de Sade. The film was originally set to be shot in Egypt, which later was changed to Tel Aviv, which led the original director to quit the feature and the production company to hire director Tobe Hooper. It is a co-production between Canada and Israel.

The Thin Line is a 1980 Israeli drama art film written and directed by Michal Bat-Adam. The film was selected as the Israeli entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 53rd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

Israel participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the song "Sameach" written by Roy Arad and Guy Assif. The song was performed by the group PingPong, which was internally selected by the Israeli broadcaster Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) to compete at the 2000 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. PingPong and "Sameach" was announced by IBA as the Israeli entry on 6 January 2000.

The Story of David (1976) was a two-part, 3.2 hour American television film dramatizing the biblical story of King David. It starred Timothy Bottoms as the young David, Keith Michell as the older David, Anthony Quayle as King Saul, and Jane Seymour as Bathsheba. Produced by Columbia Pictures Television for the American Broadcasting Company (ABC-TV), it premiered on 9 April 1976. It was filmed in Israel and Spain.

Remembrance of Love is a 1982 war film directed by Jack Smight and starring Kirk Douglas. A reunion of Holocaust survivors in Israel brings together a couple who had been teenage lovers 35 years earlier in Poland during the Second World War. It aired as an NBC Monday Movie. Star Douglas's real-life son Eric Douglas, 23, played his father in flashbacks. Actor and singer Robert Clary, a Holocaust survivor, appeared as himself.
