Darran O'Sullivan is a Gaelic footballer. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Glenbeigh-Glencar, his divisional side Mid Kerry and at senior level for the Kerry county team from 2005 until 2018. O'Sullivan captained Kerry to the All-Ireland title in 2009.

Éamonn Fitzmaurice is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. He played at senior level for the Kerry county team and later managed it between 2012 and 2018, during which time he became a member of an exclusive club of people to have won All-Ireland SFC titles as a player and as a manager.

Kerry are by far the most successful team in the history of Gaelic football. They have won 38 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and have appeared in countless other All-Ireland Football Finals. Kerry footballers have been garlanded with countless awards and hold numerous individual records in the sport. Pat Spillane received nine All Stars during a glittering career, a feat matched by no other Gaelic footballer, while Tadhg Kennelly is the only holder of both an AFL Premiership medallion and a Senior All-Ireland Championship medal, the highest possible achievement in the sports of Australian rules football and Gaelic football. The 2015 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, the 128th event of its kind and the culmination of the 2015 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, was played at Croke Park in Dublin on 20 September 2015. Leinster Champions Dublin and Munster Champions Kerry competed for the Sam Maguire Cup.

Jonathan Lyne is an Irish sportsperson. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Killarney Legion and was a member of the senior Kerry county team from 2014.

The Dublin-Kerry rivalry is a Gaelic football rivalry between Irish county teams Dublin and Kerry, who first played each other in 1892. It is considered to be one of the biggest rivalries in Gaelic games, with many considering it the greatest of all GAA rivalries. Dublin's home ground is Parnell Park and Kerry's home ground is Fitzgerald Stadium; however, all of their championship meetings have been held at neutral venues, usually Croke Park.

The Kerry county hurling team represents Kerry in hurling and is governed by Kerry GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the Joe McDonagh Cup and the National Hurling League.

Denis J. Lyne was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for club side Killarney Legion and at inter-county level with the Kerry senior football team.

Thomas Francis Spillane was an Irish Gaelic footballer and selector. At club level he played with Killarney Legion, Templenoe and Kenmare and was also a member of the Kerry senior football team.
