Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a province of Pakistan. Located in the northwestern region of the country, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the fourth largest province of Pakistan by land area and the third-largest province by population. It is bordered by the Pakistani provinces of Balochistan to the south, Punjab to the south-east, the territory of Gilgit-Baltistan to the north and north-east, Islamabad Capital Territory to the east and Azad Kashmir to the north-east. It shares an international border with Afghanistan to the west. Khošāl Khān Khaṭak (Pashto: خوشال خان خټک; Urdu, Persian: خوشحال خان خٹک; 1613 – 25 February 1689), also known as Khushal Baba, was a 17th-century Pashtun poet, chief, and warrior. Khushal Khan served the Mughal Empire protecting them from Pashtun warriors over most of his lifespan. After being expelled from his tribal chiefdom and replaced with his son by his Mughal superiors, Khushal Khan turned against the Mughals. Afterwards, Khushal preached the union of all Pashtuns, and encouraged revolt against the Mughal Empire, promoting Pashtun nationalism in the last years of his life through poetry. Khushal wrote many works in Pashto but also a few in Persian. Khushal is considered the "father of Pashto literature" and the national poet of Afghanistan.

Gumoriani Tribe/Zimri Tribe is also called Zimri or Mizri or Gamaryani or Gumaryani or Gumoriani is a Pashtun tribe in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Some Zimri live's in Afghanistan. The name Zimri or Zmarai means "fierce tiger" in the Pashto language. The history shows that one day at the place located in Musakhail city between the Sherani and Isot, the father of Zimri had a fight with tigers in the mountains. After being victorious, the father of Musakhail gave him the honour Zmarai (lion), which means "lion" in Pashto. Zimri, Mizri, the same nation named changed due to the languages of different areas.

The Banuchi (Shitak/Shitakzai) or Banusi, Banuchi, Banisi originally Shitak Afghans. are a Pashtun tribe which has the reputation of being one of the most warlike amongst the Afghan or Pashtun people. They inhabit the Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, North Waziristan and Kurram of the of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, with some members settled in Khost and Injil of Herat Afghanistan. Shitak was the name of their ancestor. Therefore, according to Afghan/Pashtun traditions, his descendants were called Shitak or Shitakzai, Zai means "son" in Pashto. However, it is more famous by its nicknames like Banuchi or Banusi and these people call themselves Banisi. These titles belonged to this tribe in relation to this region. Because the name of Bannu area comes from bin, which means forest. This area used to be a forest. In which shesham and mulberry trees were found in abundance. Later on, it has evolved from Bana to Bani and then Bannu over time. Even today, the local people and the people of the surrounding area call it Bana and Bani.
Lachi is one of the two tehsils in the Kohat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan, located south of the district capital Kohat. It houses about 100,000 inhabitants, living in 1,161 square kilometres (448 sq mi). The tehsil is subdivided into nine union councils.
