Siddique Salik, SI(M), was an officer in the Pakistan Army, combat artist, humorist, novelist, and a memoirist who served as 8th Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations from 1985 until his death in 1988 in the plane crash in Bahawalpur with then President. In addition, he also authored two eyewitnessed books on the Bangladesh Liberation War which took place in erstwhile East-Pakistan, giving accounts of politics and the barbaric strategies used by the military.

Shahid Bashir is a Pakistan Army engineer and aviator who is facing court martial by the Judge Advocate General Branch of Pakistan Army. Bashir is accused of spying, including leaking secrets of the Shamsi Air base to those planning to attack it, and inciting fellow soldiers to commit acts of terrorism against US army occupying these basis. On December 10, 2009, Colonel Bashir along with his close friends, was arrested by the Pakistani military police.
Women in the Pakistan Armed Forces are the female officers who serve in the Pakistan Armed Forces. In 2006, the first women fighter pilot batch joined the combat aerial mission command of PAF. The Pakistan Navy prohibits women from serving in the combat branch. Rather, they are appointed and serve in operations involving military logistics, staff and senior administrative offices, particularly in the regional and central headquarters. There was a rise in the number of women applying for the combat branch of PAF in 2013.

Asim Saleem BajwaHI(M) TBt is a retired Pakistani three-star general who served as the chairman of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority from November 2019 to August 2021 and the special assistant to then Prime Minister Imran Khan on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting from 28 April 2020 to 12 October 2020. On 11 December 2016, Bajwa was appointed as Inspector General Arms at GHQ, where he served until his appointment to the position of Commander Southern Command and XII Corps in September 2017. On 12 May 2023, a terrorist attack occurred in Muslim Bagh, Killa Saifullah District in northern Balochistan, Pakistan. Insurgents attacked a Frontier Corps camp, killing six security officers and a civilian. The insurgent group Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
