Zuzana Licko is a Slovak-born American type designer and visual artist known for co-founding Emigre Fonts, a digital type foundry in Berkeley, CA. She has designed and produced numerous digital typefaces including the popular Mrs Eaves, Modula, Filosofia, and Matrix. As a corresponding interest she also creates ceramic sculptures, textile prints and jacquard weavings.

According to the 2011 census, Slovaks in Serbia number 52,750, constituting 0.7% of the country's population. They mainly live in Vojvodina (50,321), where they constitute the third largest ethnic group after Serbs and Hungarians. Like other ethnic Slovaks, they speak the Slovak language, but most of them are Protestant by faith and not Roman Catholic like most Slovaks in Slovakia.

Zuzana Rabina Bachoríková is a Slovak artist and designer. Between 1976 and 1980 she studied at the School of Applied Arts in Bratislava, the department promotion and book design by Professor Gabriel Štrba and Dusan Králik. She lives in Bratislava. Bachoríková dedicated her life to painting, drawing, graphic design, illustration, fashion and interior design. She is the co-founder of the fashion brand ZURABA. Her works are represented in the collections of galleries in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Japan, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Africa, Australia and the United States.
