On July 7, 2010, Sony unveiled the Sony DSC-TX9 and DSC-WX5, which were the world's smallest 3D cameras and capture 3D images with a single lens system using a sweeping motion. Sony also introduced the DSC-T99 14.1 MP CCD camera for about $250. The three cameras above offered a 3D Sweep Panorama feature, which let one take panoramic pictures in a single press-and-sweep motion. The high-speed burst of frames is digitally stitched together to automatically create a detail-packed 3D panorama. These images can be viewed in 2D or 3D on compatible 3D televisions. [76]
In 2006, the now-defunct Sony Mobile (then known as Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, a joint venture between Sony and Ericsson) launched a mobile phone using the Cyber-shot branding for the Sony Ericsson K800i, featuring a 3.2-MP Cyber-shot digital camera and a xenon flash.
On February 6, 2007, Sony Ericsson announced the K810 Cyber-shot phone. Building on the success of the K800, the K810 added a number of features that made its 3.2-MP autofocus camera even more camera-like. Sony Ericsson also expanded its Cyber-shot branding to a mid-range handset, the K550, which had a 2.0-MP camera bundled with autofocus and LED flash.

In Japan, Sony Ericsson used the Cyber-shot name on the SO905iCS, 'CS' standing for Cyber-shot. The handset featured an Exmor CMOS sensor, as well as a smile shutter, BRAVIA Screen and a 3× optical zoom mechanism.
As a successor to the popular K Series, Sony Ericsson introduced the 'C' Series in 2008. The initial handset released under this category was the 5-MP C902, with the C905 announced shortly thereafter. The C905 signalled Sony Ericsson's entry into the 8-MP camera phone market. The last Cyber-shot phone to be released in Japan was the Sony Ericsson S006 in October 2010.

After Sony's mobile division ceased to be a joint venture in 2012, all production of new Cyber-shot phones have currently stopped.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-R1 is a bridge digital camera announced by Sony in 2005. It featured a 10.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, a size typically used in DSLRs and rarely used in bridge cameras. This was the first time such a large sensor was incorporated into a bridge camera. Besides the APS-C sensor, the DSC-R1 also featured a 14.3–71.5 mm Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens, providing for an angle of view equivalent to 24–120 mm on a full frame camera.

General Imaging was a manufacturer of digital cameras headquartered in Torrance, California, established in 2006 by Hiroshi "Hugh" Komiya, a former executive of Olympus Corporation. General Imaging sold their cameras internationally under the General Electric name, used under license. General Imaging was licensed to manufacture and sell their cameras under the AgfaPhoto name in Japan. On October 5, 2015, General Imaging filed for bankruptcy.
The Canon PowerShot TX1 is a Canon digital camera. It was released on February 22, 2007 The TX1 is a hybrid device designed for both still imagery and video recording. It offers both HDTV movie capture, as well as 10× stabilized zoom and 7.1 megapixel sensor. It is designed to improve upon hybrid offerings by competitors such as the Sony Cyber-shot M1, Sony Cyber-shot M2, and Pentax MX4. It is oriented vertically and uses the camcorder-like swivel LCD viewing screen. Canon compares the hybrid camera's size to that of the Canon ELPH series of cameras. The company distinguishes the camera for its optical image stabilizer technology, DIGIC III image processor, face detection technology and red-eye effect correction with a mention of its built-in lens cover and scratch-resistant, anti-reflective LCD screen.
The Fujifilm FinePix HS10 is an ultrazoom bridge camera from Fujifilm that was announced in February 2010. It is the first model of the Fujifilm FinePix HS series.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 is a digital still camera announced by Sony on February 18, 2010. It boasts advanced features like Backlight Correction HDR, Hand-Held Twilight aided by the Exmor R CMOS sensor, and the intelligent panorama stitching mode, called the iSweep. The camera also has a waterproof body, which also makes it dust-proof. It is also freeze-proof for up to -10 °C and shock-proof, when dropped from a height of about 1.5 meters. Sony describes it as a rugged camera.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 series is a high-end compact camera part of the wider Sony RX series. It started with the DSC-RX100, announced on 6 June 2012, and is part of the Cyber-shot RX line of digital cameras made by Sony. Seven annual generations have been released so far until 2019, all equipped with a one-inch 20-Megapixel image sensor and rotary knob around the lens. Filming at up to 1080p at 60fps is supported by the first three generations, the third additionally with 720p at 120fps, and up to 2160p (4K) at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps high frame rate video since the fourth.

Its TFT LCD screen can tilt up to 180º, it has a built-in flash and a built-in AF illuminator. It also has an Exmor R CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processing engine. Its customizable ring is borrowed from the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100, around the front of the lens. The camera also has built-in Wi-Fi with NFC with downloadable apps, but no GPS. The WX500 features Optical Image Stabilisation.
