The speaker of a deliberative assembly, especially a legislative body, is its presiding officer, or the chair. The title was first used in 1377 in England.
The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly or the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Vasundhara Raje Scindia is an Indian politician who held the post of 13th Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 2013 to 11 December 2018 - previously she served for the same post from 2003 to 2008 and was the first woman to hold the post.
Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was the 11th Vice President of India. He was also a M.L.A. from Shrimadhopur.He served in that position from August 2002, when he was elected to a five-year term by the electoral college following the death of Krishan Kant, until he resigned on 21 July 2007, after losing the presidential election to Pratibha Patil. Shekhawat was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a leading member of the National Democratic Alliance at the time of election. He served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan three times, from 1977 to 1980, 1990 to 1992 and 1993 to 1998.
Parasram Maderna was an Indian National Congress politician and senior Jat leader from Rajasthan, India. He originated from Lakshman Nagar village in Jodhpur district. His grand daughter Divya Maderna, is presently the MLA from his constituency Osian, Jodhpur

Sumitra Singh is a politician from the Indian state of Rajasthan. Unanimously elected Speaker of the 12th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in 2003 when she won the assembly election on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket, she is the first woman to have held that post in Rajasthan. She held this post till January 2009. Singh was elected to the Assembly for nine out of twelve terms, six times out of which from the Jhunjhunu constituency.
Ram Niwas Mirdha was an Indian politician from Rajasthan. He served as member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from 1953 to 1967 and as speaker of the assembly from 1957 to 1967. Mirdha was as a cabinet minister of the Government of India for several departments during the 1970s and 1980s and became of member of the Lok Sabha for Barmer, Rajasthan, from 1991 to 1996. He was a member of the executive board of UNESCO from 1993 to 1997. He served as chairman of the Sangeet Natak Akademi until his death from multiple organ failure.

He hails from Jodhpur region of Rajasthan. He was elected to Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Bhinmal, Phalodi and Luni, They also served as deputy speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and Cabinet Minister in Rajasthan Government.
Kailash Chandra Meghwal was former Speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, former union minister of state in Government of India and a national vice president of Bharatiya Janata Party. He represents MLA of Shahpura, Bhilwara constituency of Rajasthan in 14th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly & Ex-MP Tonk constituency of Rajasthan in 14th Lok Sabha. He was minister of state for social justice and empowerment from 2003 to 2004.
Hari Shankar Bhabhra is a former speaker of the Rajasthan legislative assembly. He attained the office of the Speaker from 16 March 1990 to 5 October 1994. He won the state legislative elections in 1985, 1990, and 1993 from Ratangarh in Churu district. A resident of Didwana in Nagaur district he contested and won from Ratangarh constituency of Churu District. He is a state leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was also Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 6 October 1994 to 1 December 1998. Bhabhra was the Deputy chairperson of Economic Policy and Reform Council in the Rajasthan Government. He was a Member of the Rajya Sabha in 1978-84.

Government of Telangana is a democratically elected body that governs the State of Telangana, India.
