A Suurkilpailu (Grand Race) is a harness racing event in Finland in which the purse for the winner is at or over 10,000 Euros (approximately 13,500 USD). All Grand Races are authorised by the Finnish trotting and breeding association, Suomen Hippos ry, the central horse organisation of Finland. The most important Grand Races are Finlandia-Ajo, St Michel and Kymi Grand Prix. [1]

Foreign relations of Finland

The foreign relations of Finland are the responsibility of the president of Finland, who leads foreign policy in cooperation with the government. Implicitly the government is responsible for internal policy and decision making in the European Union. Sofi Oksanen is a Finnish writer and playwright. Oksanen has published six novels, of which "Purge" has gained the widest recognition. Oksanen has been called "Finnish-Estonian Charles Dickens" and her work has often been compared to Margaret Atwood's novels. Clarissa Chun American sport wrestler

Clarissa Kyoko Mei Ling Chun (陳美玲) is the Head Coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes Women's wrestling program, the USA Wrestling assistant National coach and an American Olympic women's freestyle 48 kg (105.5 lbs) wrestler. Chun is the first female wrestler from Hawaii to win a medal at the Olympics. Olympic medalist Clarissa Chun was inducted into the 2018 Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame.

Team Unique

Team Unique is a senior-level synchronized skating team from Helsinki, Finland, representing the figure skating club Helsingfors Skridskoklubb (HSK). Established in 1993 and competing at the senior level since 1996, Team Unique are the 2013 world champions, 2009 world silver medalists and the 2013 and 2016 Finnish champions. Finlandia-Ajo is an annual Group One harness event that takes place at Vermo Racetrack in Helsinki, Finland. The competition, which was inaugurated in 1980, is regarded as Finland's biggest trotting event. It is raced over the mile, 1,609 meters. Finlandia-Ajo is part of the European Grand Circuit and the overall purse for the 2009 event was €190,000, equalling approximately US$247,000. The fastest winning time in the history of the race is 1:10.8, run by Opal Viking in 2007.
