ASCII Media Works published 26 novels from November 2002 to November 2012 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The story focuses on Yuji Sakai, a high school boy who inadvertently becomes involved in an age-old conflict between forces of balance and imbalance in existence. In the process, he befriends a fighter for the balancing force and names her "Shana". The series incorporates fantasy and slice of life elements into its tale.

A Certain Scientific Railgun is a Japanese manga series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Motoi Fuyukawa, which began serialization in the April 2007 issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Daioh magazine. The manga is a spin-off of Kamachi's A Certain Magical Index light novel series, taking place before and during the events of the main story. Seven Seas Entertainment began publishing the series in North America in June 2011. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff aired in Japan between October 2009 and March 2010, followed by an original video animation released in October 2010. A 24-episode anime television adaptation by Silver Link and Connect aired between 4 October 2013 and 28 March 2014 in Japan. An original video animation series titled Strike the Blood II was released in four volumes between November 2016 and May 2017. A third series titled Strike the Blood III was released from December 2018 to September 2019. A fourth series titled Strike the Blood IV was released from April 2020 to June 2021. A fifth and final season titled Strike the Blood Final will be released from March to June 2022.

Terra Formars is a Japanese manga series written by Yū Sasuga and illustrated by Kenichi Tachibana. It has been serialized in Shueisha's magazine Weekly Young Jump since 2011. Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, known in Japan as Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai, is a series of manga one-shots created by Hirohiko Araki. It is a spin-off from Diamond Is Unbreakable, the fourth part of Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, and features the character Rohan Kishibe, a manga artist who travels around the world to get inspiration from people's lives.
The Seven Deadly Sins is an anime television series based on a Japanese fantasy manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. The series debuted on MBS, TBS and other JNN stations on October 5, 2014. The staff was revealed in the combined 36/37 issue of the year: created by A-1 Pictures, directed by Tensai Okamura, and written by Shōtarō Suga, with Keigo Sasaki providing character designs and Hiroyuki Sawano composing the music. The show's first opening theme song is "Netsujō no Spectrum" performed by Ikimono-gakari for the first 12 episodes, and the second opening theme is "Seven Deadly Sins" performed by Man with a Mission. While the first ending theme, titled "7-Seven", is a collaboration between Flow and Granrodeo, the second ending theme from episode thirteen onward is "Season", the major label debut of Alisa Takigawa.
