Kënga Magjike is an annual competition, broadcasting every year since its debut in 1999, and the second longest-running television competition in Albania. Gjata participated two times in the competition, first in 2007 and after two years in 2009, where she finished in the third and second place, respectively.

Kreshnik Fazliu, known professionally as MC Kresha, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper and songwriter. Born and raised in Mitrovica, Fazliu is credited as a viable hip hop artist in the Albanian-speaking Balkans.
The Balkan Music Award is an annual Balkan music award show held every year in different cities of the Balkans. The first edition of the show was held on May 16, 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria, where many famous and young Balkan artists were awarded. The show is organised and hosted by Balkanika Music Television.
Elvana Gjata is an Albanian singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Tirana, she has been referred to as a "Diva of Albanian music". She rose to recognition in Albania and other Albanian-speaking territories in the Balkans following the release of her two studio albums, Mamës (2007) and Afër dhe larg (2011). The singer saw further success through many acclaimed singles, as well as her extended plays 3 (2018) and Çelu (2021), and has achieved multiple number one singles in the Albanian singles chart. Gjata has also received numerous awards and accolades, including two Balkan Music Awards, a Festivali i Këngës Award, four Kënga Magjike Awards and a Top Fest Award.
Florjan Mumajesi, known professionally as Flori, is an Albanian recording artist, composer, producer, and singer. Born and raised in Tirana, Mumajesi began his career at an early age and rose to significant recognition after his participations in Kënga Magjike and his eventual win in 2018. He resumed his earlier career in 2011 with his debut studio album "Detaj" which incorporated musical elements from all of his previous records.

Trim Ademi, known professionally as Capital T, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Pristina, his uncle introduced him to music and rapping at an early age. He rose to recognition in the Albanian-speaking world, after the release of his first two albums Replay (2010) and KAPO (2012). Due to the success of his albums, he founded his own record label Authentic Entertainment.

"Fustani" is a song recorded by Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata featuring Kosovo-Albanian rapper Capital T. It was written by both aforementioned artists and produced by Albanian producers Rzon and Arbre Blass. Swedish producer Johan Bejerholm further mastered and mixed the song. An official music video for "Fustani" was shot in Turkey and was uploaded on 29 June 2019 onto YouTube to accompany the single's release. A vibrant video, it features scenes of the pair performing to the song in the outskirts of Istanbul in variety of sets, and Elvana appearing with five different dresses throughout the entire video. The single experienced commercial success in Albania and went on to the country's number one The Top List chart. The record was further promoted by both artists with live performances at the Alba Festival 2019 in Zürich and soon after, at the Sunny Hill Festival 2019 in Pristina.
"Meine Liebe" is a song by German-Albanian singer Ardian Bujupi featuring Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata. A German and Albanian language pop song, the lyrics features the theme of love and missing somebody. The official music video for the song was shot in Germany and was uploaded on 1 August 2019 onto YouTube in order to accompany the single's release.
"Tavolina e mërzisë" is a song recorded by Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata. The pop ballad was written and produced by Albanian duo Aida Baraku and Armend Rexhepagiqi, with the arrangement process handled by Macedonian producer Darko Dimitrov. The official music video was uploaded onto YouTube on 26 February 2019 and has accumulated more than 15 million views since its publication. Its lyrical content discuss the way that love can turn abruptly into grief and pain. Critics noted the lyrical theme to be a response to a personal case between Elvana and her former boyfriend.

Çelu is the third extended play (EP) by Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata released on 16 April 2021 by Loudcom Media under exclusive license from East Music Matters (EMM). Gjata contributed significantly to the writing process of Çelu and collaborated extensively with Albanian composer Pirro Çako and Macedonian producer Darko Dimitrov on its songs.

It is an Albanian-language R&B and urban song, exploring the story of a heartbroken and disappointed woman.
Lamboziki is the second studio album recorded by Kosovo-Albanian rapper Mozzik. It was released for digital download and streaming on 13 February 2022 by 2 Euro Gang and Urban as a follow-up to Mozzart (2020). Lasting for 43 minutes and 35 seconds across 14 songs, the rapper extensively collaborated with Kosovo-Albanian producers Pellumb and Rzon on the record. It was classified as a hip hop, pop and R&B album, comprising songs performed mainly in Albanian with limited lines in English, French, and German. Upon release, Lamboziki saw a moderate commercial success, reaching number 42 in Switzerland. Three singles released throughout October 2021 to January 2022 preceded the record, including "Bonjour Madame" featuring Noizy, "Shko" and "Ska" with Elvana Gjata. The former three were all accompanied by music videos and entered the single charts in Albania and Switzerland.

An uptempo Balkan and Mediterranean-influenced Albanian pop love song, its Albanian-language lyrics reflect the difficulties and hardships faced in getting over a failed relationship.
In 2012, Elvana Gjata's song "Afer dhe Larg" won at the Balkan Music Awards for Best Albanian Song of the Year and Best Music Video of the Year.
