Miranda Cosgrove is an American actress and singer. Her career began at the age of three, when she appeared in television commercials. Her film debut came in 2003, when she played Summer Hathaway in School of Rock . She appeared in a number of minor television roles over several years before coming to prominence as Megan Parker on the Nickelodeon TV series Drake & Josh . A few years later, she landed the role of Carly Shay, the lead character in the Nickelodeon TV series iCarly .

As of May 2010, Cosgrove earned $180,000 per episode of iCarly, making her the second-highest-paid child star on television. [1] She was listed in the 2012 edition of Guinness World Records as the highest paid child actress for iCarly. [2] Following the success of iCarly, a soundtrack album was released in June 2008, in which she performed four songs. Her debut album, Sparks Fly , was released on April 27, 2010.

The series follows teenage stepbrothers Drake Parker and Josh Nichols as they live together despite opposite personalities. Gerald William "Jerry" Trainor is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his roles as "Crazy" Steve in Drake & Josh and Spencer Shay in the teen sitcom iCarly and its revival series of the same name, winning three Kids' Choice Awards for his performances. He also appeared in T.U.F.F. Puppy as Dudley Puppy, for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. Since 2004, Trainor has worked primarily on the Nickelodeon network. Outside of this, he has had recurring and guest roles on young adult-oriented shows on the Disney Channel and Netflix as well as in the more mature shows Crossing Jordan and 2 Broke Girls.

The 23rd Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was held on March 27, 2010, on the Nell and John Wooden Court of Pauley Pavilion, on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles, California with Kevin James as host. With the launch of Nickelodeon Canada in late 2009, Canada broadcast the awards live as it aired in the Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones of the United States and the awards was rebroadcast on YTV on April 2, 2010, at 7 p.m. ET. As a result, Canadian kids were able to vote on candidates for the first time. Nickelodeon's sister channels TeenNick and Nicktoons suspended regular programming during the 90-minute duration of the award show to allow viewers to see the awards.

Jack Black returned as host for the third time since 2006. The 2011 telecast was the first Kids' Choice Awards to take place in the month of April since 2006, as the previous four Kids' Choice telecasts from 2007 to 2010 were held on the last Saturday in March. Nominees were announced on February 10, 2011, for twenty categories. During the show, the Big Green Help Award was presented to Justin Timberlake, an honor given each year. More than 200 million record-breaking votes were cast for this year's 20-category awards.

The 28th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was held on March 28, 2015, at The Forum in Inglewood, California, and hosted by Nick Jonas. The show was broadcast at 8:00 PM (ET/PT), produced by Nickelodeon Productions, with a simulcast in the United States also carried across sister networks TeenNick, Nicktoons and TV Land, along with the network's mobile apps and website. It was led into by a double episode of The Thundermans. There were 4 new categories this year. Voting took place in six continents on 19 localized websites, along with various simulcasts across the world, on either live or tape-delayed. Despite the simulcast, the show suffered a deep drop from the 2014 ceremony, attracting approximately 3,630,000 million total viewers for the original American airing, a drop of 27% from year to year. TV sitcom Austin & Ally swept the KCAs, taking home 3 blimps; the series is the second from Disney Channel to win favorite kids show in KCA history.

The 35th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards ceremony was held on April 9, 2022, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California with Miranda Cosgrove and Rob Gronkowski serving as hosts. It aired live on Nickelodeon and in a domestic simulcast with several other Paramount Global cable networks, and was broadcast live or tape delayed across all of Nickelodeon's international networks.
