List of current champions in the National Wrestling Alliance

National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is an American professional wrestling promotion operating via its parent company Lightning One, Inc. [1] Title reigns are either determined by professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler, as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines, [2] following is correct as of September11, 2024.

Contents

The promotion currently has nine championships - four men's singles titles, two men's tag team championships, two women's singles titles and a women's tag team championship. The list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the winning bout.

Overview

Men

At the top of the National Wrestling Alliance's championship hierarchy is the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship. The championship is currently held by first time champion EC3, who defeated previous champion Tyrus on August 27, 2023, on Night Two of the NWA 75.

The secondary title is the NWA National Championship. The championship is currently held by "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason, who won the vacant title on August 26, 2023 on Night One of the NWA 75 by defeating JR Kratos and Odinson in a triple threat match.

On May 10, 2024, NWA President Billy Corgan announced that the NWA will reactivate the Mid-America Heavyweight Championship and a new champion will be crowned at their "Back to the Territories" event on June 1, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee. [3]

The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship is for wrestlers 220 lbs. and under. Colby Corino is the current champion in his first reign. He defeated Kerry Morton on August 26, 2023, on Night One of the NWA 75.

The NWA World Tag Team Championship is held by first-time champions Blunt Force Trauma (Carnage and Damage). They defeated La Rebelión (Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf 450) on Night One of the NWA 75 on August 26, 2023.

The NWA United States Tag Team Championship is currently vacant, after previous champions The Immortals (JR Kratos and Odinson) relinquished the titles in order to challenge for the NWA World Tag Team Championship at Hard Times 4.

Women

The top singles championship specifically contested for female wrestlers is the NWA World Women's Championship, which is currently held by Kenzie Paige, who defeated Kamille on August 27, 2023, at the NWA 75.

The top championship for female tag teams is the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship, which is held by The King Bees (Charity King and Danni Bee), who defeated Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kylie Page) on January 13, 2024, at Paranoia.

Open

The NWA World Television Championship is an open championship available to both men and women due to it being unified with the NWA World Women's Television Championship. It is currently held by first time champion Max the Impaler, who as Women's TV Champion defeated Mims to unify the titles on January 13, 2024 at Paranoia.

Kenzie is the current NWA World Women's Champion, in her first reign. Kenzie is also a former NWA World Women's Television Champion. As a stable, the group are 3-time NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions.

Kenzie Paige Henry, known by her ring name Kenzie Paige, is an American professional wrestler. She is currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) where she is the leader of Pretty Empowered. She is the inaugural NWA World Women's Television Champion, a former NWA World Women's Tag Team Champion and the current NWA World Women's Champion, in her first reign.

Madison Hardin, better known by the ring name Ella Envy, is an American professional wrestler. She is currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) where she is a four-time and current NWA World Women's Tag Team Champion and a former member of Pretty Empowered.
