• Highest point: Jabal Umm ad Dami: 1,854 metres (6,083 ft). ^[1]

• Northernmost point: tripoint with Syria and Iraq, Mafraq Governorate: 33°22′N38°47′E / 33.367°N 38.783°E / 33.367; 38.783 ^[2]
• Southernmost point: intersection of Amman-Tabuk railway with Jordan/Saudi Arabian border, Ma'an Governorate: 29°11′N36°04′E / 29.183°N 36.067°E / 29.183; 36.067
• Easternmost point: border with Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Mafraq Governorate: 32°14′N39°17′E / 32.233°N 39.283°E / 32.233; 39.283
