Maria Eagle is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Minister of State for Defence Procurement and Industry in the Ministry of Defence since 2024. She has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Garston and Halewood, now Liverpool Garston, since 1997. She served in the Shadow cabinets of Ed Miliband and Jeremy Corbyn.
Beverley June Hughes, Baroness Hughes of Stretford is a British politician who most recently served as Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester for Policing and Crime between 2017 and 2023. A member of the Labour Party, Hughes was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Stretford and Urmston from 1997 to 2010. In 2004, she was appointed to the Privy Council. From 2005 to 2009, she served in the Government as the Minister of State for Children, Young People and Families.

Hillier was a junior government minister (2007–10) and was succeeded by Caroline Flint as Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change in the Labour Party October 2011 reshuffle. She chaired the Public Accounts Committee from 2015 until 2024.
David Patrick Paul Alton, Baron Alton of Liverpool, KCSG, KCMCO is a British-Irish politician, formerly a Member of Parliament for the Liberal Party and later Liberal Democrat who has sat as a crossbench member of the House of Lords since 1997 when he was made a life peer. Alton is also known for his human rights work including the co-founding of Jubilee Action, the children's charity, and serves as chair, patron or trustee of several charities and voluntary organisations.
David George Hanson, Baron Hanson of Flint, is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Minister of State for the Home Office since July 2024. He previously served as the member of Parliament (MP) for Delyn from 1992 to 2019. He held several ministerial offices in the Blair and Brown governments, serving in the Home Office, the Ministry of Justice, the Wales Office, the Northern Ireland Office and the Whips' Office. Hanson sat on Ed Miliband's opposition front bench as a shadow treasury minister, and later the shadow immigration minister.
