Lahore is the core of Pakistan's media and arts scene. Pakistan's film industry is based in the city and is called Lollywood. [1] Many films are filmed in Lahore and the city has some of the oldest film studios in the country.

She has also starred as the main female lead in the 2016 biographical drama Mah e Mir, and had a supporting role in the 2011 social drama Bol.

Resham ریشم(real name: Saima صائمہ) is a Pakistani film and television actress and model born on October 2, 1968.

<i>Zarrar</i> 2022 film by Shaan Shahid

Zarrar is a 2022 Pakistani spy action thriller film written and directed by Shaan Shahid and produced by Ejaz Shahid and Adnan Butt under the banner of Jehan Films. It stars Shaan Shahid as the titular character along with Kiran Malik, Nadeem Baig, Nayyer Ejaz and Shafqat Cheema in supporting roles. The film was officially released worldwide on November 25, 2022.

Nasir Adeeb is a Pakistani scriptwriter, chiefly working in Punjabi language films of Lollywood.

Jia Ali is a Pakistani actress and model. She is known for her roles in dramas Band Khirkyon Kay Peechay, Hum Tehray Gunahgaar, Pukaar and Meer Abru.

Sharif Nayyar, was a Pakistani film director. Having a career spanning over four decades, he directed his first film in 1947 in British Indiam and directed a total of 13 films including a Punjabi film. In Pakistani cinema, Nayyar is known for directing one of Lollywood's earliest colour films, Naila (1965) and a Diamond jubilee film Dosti (1971). For directing these films, he received two Nigar Awards.
