<i>Happy Slapping</i> (film) 2011 Canadian film

Happy Slapping is a 2011 Canadian drama film about disaffected youths, teen angst and bullying. Its title is derived from the "happy slapping" fad which began in Britain where teens assault strangers on the street, film the encounters on their smartphones and circulate them on mobile phones or post them on user-generated websites. Filmed in Montreal, the film was written and directed by Christos Sourligas and co-written by Andrew Farrar and was shot by the actors on iPhones making it the world's first feature film shot entirely on smartphones.

Human Mobile Devices (HMD), formally HMD Global, is a Finnish independent mobile phone manufacturer. The company is owned by the Luxembourgish holding company Smart Connect GL. The company is made up of the mobile phone business that the Nokia Corporation sold to Microsoft in 2014, then bought back in 2016. HMD began marketing Nokia-branded smartphones and feature phones on 1 December 2016. The company has exclusive rights to the Nokia brand for mobile phones through a licensing agreement. The HMD brand was initially only used for corporate purposes and does not appear in advertising, whereas the name "Nokia Mobile" is used on social media. In January 2024, HMD rebranded to 'Human Mobile Devices' and will use its branding on future devices alongside that of Nokia.

The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are a pair of Android smartphones designed, developed, and marketed by Google as part of the Google Pixel product line. They collectively serve as mid-range variants of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. They were officially announced on May 7, 2019 at Google I/O, seven months after the announcement of the original Pixel 3 lineup, and were released on the same day. On August 3, 2020, it was succeeded by the Pixel 4a.

The Samsung Wave 3 S8600 is a smartphone running the Bada 2.0 operating system designed by Samsung, which was commercially released in August 2011. The Wave is a slim touchscreen phone powered by "Scorpion" CPU, which includes 1.4 GHz ARM Cortex-8 CPU and a powerful graphics engine, "Super LCD" screen and 720p high-definition video capture capabilities. Shortage of Super AMOLED screens was one of the primary reasons for the release of this model.

Ghost is a 2020 British independent film written and directed by Anthony Zygavicius James as his debut feature. It is set in contemporary London and follows an ex-con's struggles to reconnect with his estranged son during his first day of freedom. The film was shot entirely on an iPhone 8.

<i>Pondicherry</i> (film) 2022 Indian drama film

Pondicherry is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language relationship drama film directed by Sachin Kundalkar and produced by Creative Vibe Productions shot entirely on smartphone. The film stars Sai Tamhankar, Vaibhav Tatwawadi and Amruta Khanvilkar are in lead roles. Pondicherry was scheduled to be theatrically release on 25 February 2022. Planet Marathi OTT is the official streaming partner of this film.
