Liga Mayor de Honduras is the third division of football in Honduras. It is composed of separate departmental leagues. The league is divided into two regions, North and South. Both regions are further divided into two groups. Promotion to Liga de Ascenso de Honduras is decided by a promotion final in each region. The finalist of said promotion final, are winners of each of their respective group. The groups are composed of departmental champions. One team from each region is promoted to Liga de Ascenso de Honduras, two in total.
The Football Federation of the 4th Department Guairá is the departamental governing body of football (soccer) in the department of Guairá, in Paraguay. The federation is responsible for the organization of football leagues in the different cities of the department and it is also the regulator of the clubs. The main office of this federation is located in the city of Villarrica.
The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Fútbol de Cuba is the top football division in Cuba. Currently, it is contested by 16 clubs and is divided into two tournaments – "Apertura" and "Clausura", with the last being the championship tournament. The champion of each tournament, decided via a playoff match ("Final"), are qualified to Supercopa Nacional de Fútbol de Cuba. The league currently has a fixed membership with each club being a representative of a Cuban province, which makes it one of the football leagues that does not have a promotion and relegation process.

The 2011–12 Copa Argentina was the third edition of the Copa Argentina, and the first since 1970. The competition began on August 31, 2011 and ended on August 8, 2012. The tournament featured 186 clubs from the top five levels of the Argentine football league system. The winner qualified for the 2012 Copa Sudamericana.
The 2013–14 Copa Argentina was the fifth edition of the Copa Argentina, and the third since the relaunch of the tournament in 2011. The competition began on October 29, 2013. Arsenal was the defending champion, but were eliminated by Instituto in the Round of 32. Huracán won the final and their first title, beating Rosario Central on penalties. By winning the competition, Huracán won the right to play the 2015 Copa Libertadores, and the 2014 Supercopa Argentina.
The 2014–15 Copa Argentina was the sixth edition of the Copa Argentina, and the fourth since the relaunch of the tournament in 2011. The competition began on October 15, 2014. Defending champions Huracán were eliminated by Independiente Rivadavia in the Round of 64. In the final, Boca Juniors won the tournament beating Rosario Central to win their third title. By winning the competition, Boca Juniors won the right to play the 2015 Supercopa Argentina, and Rosario Central, as runner-up won the right to play in the 2016 Copa Libertadores because Boca Juniors had already qualified as Primera División champion. Luis Lune, from Vélez Sársfield (SR), was the highest scorer with 5 goals.

The 2019 Copa Paraguay was the second edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition. The competition started on 28 May 2019 and concluded on 5 December 2019. Libertad won their first title in the competition by beating defending champions Guaraní in the final by a 3–0 score. With both champions Libertad and runners-up Guaraní being already qualified for the 2020 Copa Libertadores, and third-placed team Deportivo Capiatá being relegated at the end of the season, the berth to the 2020 Copa Sudamericana the winners were originally entitled to was transferred to the Primera División aggregate table eighth-placed team, Sportivo Luqueño.
