Saint Andrew is a parish, situated in the southeast of Jamaica in the county of Surrey. It lies north, west and east of Kingston, and stretches into the Blue Mountains. As of the 2011 census, it had a population of 573,369, the highest of any of the parishes in Jamaica.

The KSAFA Major League, officially known as Wray & Nephew KSAFA Major League for sponsorship reasons, is a fourth-division football league in Jamaica. The twelve teams that compete in the league are based in the parishes of St. Andrew and Kingston. At the end of each season, the two finalists are promoted to the KSAFA Championship. The bottom two teams are relegated to the KSAFA Syd Bartlett League.

Yallahs, a town on the southeastern coast of Jamaica in the parish of St Thomas, is home to approximately 10,000 residents. The city, which was documented as “Yealoth” in a 1662 census, may have derived its name from Captain Yallahs, a privateer from 1671, or vice versa. Another theory suggests that the name Yallahs could have originated from the Spanish word ‘yalos’, which means frost, as the high white cliffs in the area might give an impression of frost.
Highway 2000 is a highway system in Jamaica connecting Kingston, with Ocho Rios and a planned connection to Montego Bay, passing through the parishes of St. Catherine, Saint Ann, Clarendon and proposed sections through St. James, Saint Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Hanover.
The 2011–12 Red Stripe Premier League was the highest competitive football league in Jamaica. It was the 38th edition of the competition. The season began in August 2011 and was completed in May 2012. The teams played each other 3 times each then the final 5 games was played amongst the top 6 and bottom 6; making it a total of 38 games each. Tivoli Gardens were the defending champions, having won their fifth Jamaican championship the prior season.
The 2015–16 Red Stripe Premier League is the highest competitive football league in Jamaica. It is the 42nd edition of the competition. It started on September 6, 2015 and ended on May 17, 2016.
The 2017–18 Red Stripe Premier League is the highest competitive football league in Jamaica. It is the 44th edition of the competition. The regular season started on September 24, 2017. Arnett Gardens are the defending champions, having won their 5th title last season.
The 2018–19 Red Stripe Premier League was the 45th season of the National Premier League, the top division football competition in Jamaica. The season began on 16 September 2018 and ended on 29 April 2019. Portmore United were the defending champions, having won their 6th title the previous season.
The 2019–20 Red Stripe Premier League is the 46th season of the National Premier League, the top division football competition in Jamaica. The season kicked off on 1 September 2019. On March 12, 2020, the season entered a lengthy suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, following the cancellation of several matches. Three days later, the Jamaica Football Federation officially cancelled the season on 15 March 2020 as part of its effort to help contain the pandemic.
The 2022 Jamaica Premier League was the 48th season of the Jamaica Premier League, the top division football competition in Jamaica. The season kicked off on 16 January 2022 and ended on 3 June 2022.
The 2023–24 Jamaica Premier League was the 50th season of the top-tier football league in Jamaica. The season began on October 22, 2023, and concluded on May 19, 2024. 14 teams competed in the league, with Mount Pleasant F.A. being the defending champions. Wray and Nephew Group replaced Digicel as the new title sponsor at the start of the season. Cavalier won the league to earn their 3rd JPL title.
The 2024–25 Jamaica Premier League is the 51st season of the top-tier football league in Jamaica. The season began on September 15, 2024, and scheduled to conclude on May 31, 2025. Cavalier F.C. are the defending champions having won their third title the previous season.
