Irwandi Yusuf is an Indonesian politician who was the governor of Aceh. He was re-elected Governor in early 2017 after serving an earlier term between 2006 and 2012.
The Nanggroe Aceh Party is a regional political party in Indonesia. It was established as National Aceh Party, as a result of a split within the Aceh Party triggered by disagreements over the candidate for governor in the 2012 Aceh gubernatorial election. It was founded by Irwandi Yusuf, who was Aceh's governor between 2007 and 2012. The party qualified to contest the 2014 elections in Aceh, and won 4.7 percent of the vote, winning three seats in the provincial legislature.
Djarot Saiful Hidayat is an Indonesian politician who is currently a member of the People's Representative Council. He was the governor of Jakarta, in office between 15 June and 15 October 2017 after being acting governor since 9 May. He replaced his predecessor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama when the latter was found guilty of blasphemy against Islam. He was appointed by Basuki as Deputy Governor in 2014 to fill the gap left by the election of Joko Widodo as president.

Leading the movement's guerilla wing following the death of his predecessor, he was its leader at the end of the conflict and later founded the Aceh Party, becoming its first and current chairman.
Soni Sumarsono is an Indonesian civil servant who was the Director-General of Regional Autonomy in the Ministry of Home Affairs. As part of his position, he has become acting governors for the provinces of South Sulawesi, Jakarta and North Sulawesi.

Nova Iriansyah is an Indonesian architect and politician who has served as the Governor of Aceh, Indonesia since 2020, although he had served as acting governor since 2018. Before becoming governor, he was deputy governor in 2017–2018, and served in the People's Representative Council between 2009 and 2014.
Arsyadjuliandi Rachman is an Indonesian politician who is a member of the People's Representative Council and served as governor of Riau between 2016 and 2018. He was previously the province's vice-governor, although he acted in the governor's capacity following Annas Maamun's arrest in 2014.
Andi Sudirman Sulaiman is an Indonesian politician who currently serves as the Governor of South Sulawesi. He had been elected as Vice Governor in 2018 and was elevated to acting governor when governor Nurdin Abdullah was arrested.
