Between 2002 and 2013 he served as editor-in-chief of the Magyar Jelen newspaper.

Gábor Vona Hungarian politician

Gábor Vona is a Hungarian historian, teacher and former far-right politician who led the political party Jobbik from 2006 until 2018. He was the party's candidate for the position of prime minister in the 2010, 2014 and 2018 national elections. He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) from 2010 to 2018 and led the Jobbik parliamentary group until 2016.

Béla Kovács is a Hungarian politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Hungary between 2010 and 2019. He is a former member of Jobbik, he left the party in 2016.

2014 Hungarian parliamentary election Parliamentary election in Hungary

The 2014 Hungarian parliamentary election took place on 6 April 2014. This parliamentary election was the 7th since the 1990 first multi-party election. The result was a victory for the Fidesz–KDNP alliance, preserving its two-thirds majority, with Viktor Orbán remaining Prime Minister. It was the first election under the new Constitution of Hungary which came into force on 1 January 2012. The new electoral law also entered into force that day. For the first time since Hungary's transition to democracy, the election had a single round. The voters elected 199 MPs instead of the previous 386 lawmakers.

Márton Gyöngyösi is a Hungarian politician, who has been the leader of the political party Jobbik since 2022. He was a Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2019. He was the leader of the Jobbik's parliamentary group from 2018 to 2019. He was elected a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in the 2019 European Parliament election, as a result he resigned from his seat in the national parliament.

The 2018 Hungarian parliamentary election took place on 8 April 2018. This parliamentary election was the eighth since the 1990 first multi-party election and the second since the adoption of a new Constitution of Hungary which came into force on 1 January 2012. The result was a victory for the Fidesz–KDNP alliance, preserving its two-thirds majority, with Viktor Orbán remaining Prime Minister. Orbán and Fidesz campaigned primarily on the issues of immigration and foreign meddling, and the election was seen as a victory for right-wing populism in Europe.

Tamás Sneider Hungarian politician

Tamás Sneider is a Hungarian politician, who was leader of the Jobbik from May 2018 to January 2020. Before that he was one of the vice-presidents of the party from 2009 to 2018. He was a member of the parliament from 2010 to 2022. Between 2010 and 2014 he served as the president of the Committee of Youth, Social and Family Policies of the Hungarian National Assembly. He was one of the deputy speakers of the National Assembly from 2014 to 2020 and member of the Committee on Social Welfare.

Péter Jakab is a Hungarian politician, former President of Jobbik and member of the National Assembly. Since June 2019 he has been the Parliamentary group leader of Jobbik. He was the Deputy Parliamentary Group Leader of Jobbik from February to June in 2019. He was elected Member of Parliament in the 2018 parliamentary election. He was a Member of the House Committee on Legislation from 2018 to 2019 and he was the Vice Chairman of the Committee on Justice in 2019 in the National Assembly.

Gábor Staudt is a Hungarian jurist and politician of the right-wing Jobbik. He served as a member of the National Assembly (MP) from 2010 to 2019. He was the Jobbik's candidate for the position of mayor of Budapest in the 2010 and 2014 local elections.
