Erie County is a county along the shore of Lake Erie in western New York State. As of the 2020 census, the population was 954,236. The county seat is Buffalo, which makes up about 28% of the county's population. Both the county and Lake Erie were named for the regional Iroquoian language-speaking Erie tribe of Native Americans, who lived in the area before 1654. They were later pushed out by the more powerful Iroquoian nations tribes.

Interstate 5 (I-5) is the main north–south Interstate Highway on the West Coast of the United States, running largely parallel to the Pacific coast of the contiguous U.S. from Mexico to Canada. It travels through the states of California, Oregon, and Washington, serving several large cities on the U.S. West Coast, including San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Portland, and Seattle. It is the only continuous Interstate highway to touch both the Mexican and the Canadian borders. Upon crossing the Mexican border at its southern terminus, I-5 continues to Tijuana, Baja California, as Mexico Federal Highway 1 (Fed. 1). Upon crossing the Canadian border at its northern terminus, it continues to Vancouver as British Columbia Highway 99 (BC 99).
Cheektowaga is a town in Erie County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town has grown to a population of 89,877. The town is in the north-central part of the county, and is an inner ring suburb of Buffalo. The town is the second-largest suburb of Buffalo, after the Town of Amherst.

Air Oregon was founded as Executive Flight Services in 1961 in Portland, Oregon; was renamed to Air Oregon in 1977. The 1929 Chico State Wildcats football team represented Chico State Teachers College during the 1929 college football season. Chico State competed in the Far Western Conference in 1929. This was their first season in the FWC, and they would remain in the conference until the school eliminated the football program after the 1996 season. They had been a member of the California Coast Conference (CCC) since its founding in 1922.
The Bee is a newspaper based in Sellwood, a neighborhood of Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon. It was founded as the Sellwood Bee in 1906, and at various times has been known as Bee, the Milwaukee Bee, and the Sellwood-Moreland Bee. It returned to simply the Bee in 1970, and has retained the name since.
