^1 In November 1984, IFOP affiliated MEDEF and established The Official French Singles Chart under the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP). The first official chart was on the issue week of November 4, 1984. There was no official chart before this date, but reviews from IFOP since the music industry was created in France in 1922.
"What's Love Got to Do with It" is a song written by Graham Lyle and Terry Britten, and recorded by Tina Turner for her fifth studio album, Private Dancer (1984). Capitol Records released it as a single from Private Dancer in May 1984 and it eventually became Turner's biggest-selling single.
"Popcorn" is an instrumental song composed by Gershon Kingsley in 1969 for the album Music to Moog By. It was performed on the Moog synthesizer and released on the Audio Fidelity label. The name is a combination of pop for Pop music and corn for kitsch. The song became a worldwide hit in 1972, when it was covered by Hot Butter, an American pop band. Since then, multiple versions of the piece have been produced and released, including those by Vyacheslav Mescherin, Anarchic System, Popcorn Makers, the Boomtang Boys, M & H Band, Crazy Frog, and the Muppets.
"I Just Called to Say I Love You" is a ballad written, produced, and performed by American R&B singer and songwriter Stevie Wonder. It was a major international hit, and remains Wonder's best-selling single to date, having topped a record 19 charts.
Un Monde Parfait was the debut album from the French singer Ilona Mitrecey and was released on 10 August 2005 by Sony BMG. In Germany and Switzerland, it was composed of only six tracks from the French version and was reentitled Ilona there. The album reached number two in France, Mitrecey's country-home, and Portugal, and number nine in the Francophone part of Belgium. It provided five singles which were all top ten hits in France, the eponymous and lead single even becoming the best-selling single of the 21st century in the country, with over 1.5 copies sold.
"Slipping Away" is a song by American electronic musician Moby. It was released as the sixth and final single from his seventh studio album Hotel on January 23, 2006. It served as the fourth single from Hotel in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number 53 on the UK Singles Chart, and as the sixth international single from the album. The single version features British singer-songwriter Alison Moyet on backing vocals.

It was released as the second single - after "Toutes les peines" - from Fiori's album Si on chantait plus fort on July 20, 2007. The single was very successful, particularly in France where it topped the chart.
"Baila (Sexy Thing)" (sometimes known as "Baila Morena") is a song by Italian singer Zucchero. The song was first released as the lead single of his ninth studio album Shake, and it was highly popular in Italy and Spain, reaching #1 chart positions, but achieved moderate success in other countries. Zucchero also recorded an English language version for the single release. The song was later re-recorded in Spanish with the Mexican rock band Maná for the compilation album Zu & Co, but only reached chart success in 2006 due to its inclusion in the soundtrack of the film French Fried Vacation 3.
