Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal, known professionally as Grégory Lemarchal, was a French singer who rose to fame by winning the fourth series of the reality television show Star Academy, which was broadcast on the TF1.
"Sous le vent" is a duet between Garou and Celine Dion, released on 29 October 2001. It is the third single from Garou's album, Seul. "Sous le vent" was also included on Dion's On ne change pas greatest-hits compilation in October 2005. The song was written by Jacques Veneruso, who later wrote other songs for Dion, including "Tout l'or des hommes", "Je ne vous oublie pas", and "Parler à mon père".
Mylène Farmer is a French pop singer-songwriter that has released eleven studio albums, five compilation albums two of which are remixes ones, six live albums, sixty-six singles and seventeen home videos. She is referred to as the "Queen of French Pop" and has sold over 45 million records throughout her career. Farmer was the first female artist in history to sell out the 80,000 capacity Stade de France two nights in a row. Ainsi soit je... was the best-selling album by a woman during the 80s decade in France. Les mots is the highest-selling greatest hits collection in French history. "Désenchantée" remains as the best-selling single by a female artist in France. Farmer has achieved 21 No. 1 hits including 58 Top 10 hits on SNEP, spending 39 weeks atop the chart, and 15 No. 1 albums including a staggering 8 diamond-certified albums in France.
"J'ai demandé à la lune" is the most popular song from the 2002 album Paradize which allowed Indochine to reconnect with the media that had abandoned the band a decade earlier. Indochine had gone through a vast amount of criticism before the release of the song. Written by Mickaël Furnon, the singer of Mickey 3D, the song was released as the second single from this album in March 2002, and quickly became a national success, selling over a million units. The album similarly achieved commercial success a few months later.
"4 Mots sur un piano" is a 2007 song recorded by French singers Patrick Fiori, Jean-Jacques Goldman, who also had written the lyrics, and Christine Ricol. It was released as the second single - after "Toutes les peines" - from Fiori's album Si on chantait plus fort on July 20, 2007. The single was very successful, particularly in France where it topped the chart.
"Les Rois du monde" is a 2000 song performed by Philippe d'Avilla, Damien Sargue and Grégori Baquet. It was the second single from the French musical Roméo et Juliette, de la Haine à l'Amour, featuring as the fourth track on the album of the same name. Released in July 2000, the single achieved a huge success in France and Belgium, topping the charts for many months.
"J'ai tout oublié" is a 2001 song recorded as a duet by the French artist Marc Lavoine and the Italian singer Cristina Marocco. The song was released on 19 November 2001 as the second single from Lavoine's eighth album, just entitled Marc Lavoine. It reached number one on the French Singles Chart, thus becoming to date the most successful single of the singer in France.
"De temps en temps" is a 2007 song recorded by the French singer Grégory Lemarchal. It was released as the first single from his posthumous album, La Voix d'un ange, on 11 June 2007. The song was very successful in France and Belgium (Wallonia), topping the singles charts.
"One More Time" is a song by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, released as a single from their second album, Discovery (2001), on 13 November 2000. It is a French house song featuring a stylistically Auto-Tuned vocal performance by Romanthony. The music video forms part of the 2003 anime film, Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. "One More Time" reached number one on the French Singles Chart, number two on the UK Singles Chart, and number 61 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
