On August 12, 2014, the first season was released in North America as a 8-disc DVD box set as well as an individual first volume containing the first seven episodes of the series, all by Cinedigm. [1]

On November 30, 2018, Discotek Media announced that they have licensed the series for 1-disc dubbed SD Blu-ray releases, starting with Season 1 on January 29, 2019, [2] then Season 2 on February 26, 2019, [3] and finally Season 3 on March 26, 2019. [4]

Fruits Basket was adapted into a twenty-six episode anime series by Studio Deen and premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on July 5, 2001, with the final episode airing on December 27, 2001. Based on the twenty-three volume manga series written by Natsuki Takaya, the series tells the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl living in a tent so as not to trouble anyone. After meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Sohma, she learns thirteen members of the Sohma family are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac legend and cursed to turn into their animal forms if they embrace anyone of the opposite sex or if their bodies are under great stress. The series was directed by Akitaro Daichi. During production of the series, Daichi and Takaya ran into multiple creative differences including the cast, coloring, and storytelling direction, leading Takaya to dislike the adaptation. Funimation aired the series, in dubbed English, on their anime television channel as well as on Colours TV.

<i>One Piece</i> (season 3) Season of television series

The third season of the One Piece anime series, subtitled Enter Chopper at the Winter Island on home video, was produced by Toei Animation, and directed by Konosuke Uda based on Eiichiro Oda's manga by the same name. The third season deals with the Straw Hat Pirates trying to find a doctor after Nami falls sick. They sail to Drum Island where they face off against the Wapol Pirates. There they meet Chopper who joins the crew.

Hozuki's Coolheadedness is a Japanese manga series that was written and illustrated by Natsumi Eguchi. The plot revolves around Hozuki, a demon who works for the King and Head Judge of Hell. Kodansha serialized the manga in the magazine Morning between March 2011 and January 2020, and chapters were collected in thirty-one tankōbon volumes.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, also known as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Animation, is a Japanese anime television series produced by David Production. <i>One Piece</i> (season 17) Season of television series

The seventeenth season of the One Piece anime series was produced by Toei Animation, and directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto and Toshinori Fukuzawa. The season began broadcasting in Japan on Fuji Television from January 19, 2014 to June 19, 2016. It features 118 episodes, which makes this the second longest season of the whole anime. Like the rest of the series, it follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates. The first DVD compilation of this season was released on July 2, 2014, with individual volumes being released monthly. Funimation began releasing their English dub of the season through VOD on December 1, 2020.

The eighth season of the Fairy Tail anime series was directed by Shinji Ishihira and produced by A-1 Pictures and Bridge. The first ten episodes are an adaptation of the spin-off manga series Fairy Tail Zero by Hiro Mashima. Fairy Tail Zero is a prequel which focuses on the adventures of the guild's first master, Mavis Vermillion. The last two episodes adapt material from the last two chapters of the 49th volume of the original manga, and deal with Lucy Heartfilia reuniting with Natsu Dragneel and Happy at the Grand Magic Games. Season 8 is the second and final season of the 2014 anime series.

<i>Black Clover</i> (season 2) Season of television series

The second season of the Black Clover anime TV series was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and produced by Pierrot. The season adapts Yūki Tabata's manga series of the same name from the rest of the 9th volume to the 17th volume, with the exception of episodes 55 and 56, episode 66 (recap), episode 82, and episodes 85 and 86 (filler). The first 14 episodes focus on the Black Bulls as they enter the Forest of Witches and help heal Asta's arms, which were injured from his battle with the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

The second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re is the sequel to the first season of Tokyo Ghoul:re, adapted from the manga of the same name by Sui Ishida. It is the fourth and final season within the overall anime franchise. The anime is produced by Pierrot, with Pierrot Plus providing production assistance, and is directed by Odahiro Watanabe. The anime aired from October 9, 2018 to December 25, 2018 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, TVA, TVQ and BS11.

<i>Black Lagoon</i> (TV series) Japanese anime television series

Black Lagoon is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same title by Rei Hiroe. The series was produced by Madhouse, Geneon Entertainment and Shogakukan and directed and written by Sunao Katabuchi, with Masanori Shino designing the characters and Edison composing the music. The first season was broadcast in Japan from April to June 2006; it was followed by a second season, titled The Second Barrage, broadcast from October to December of the same year. A five-episode original video animation (OVA), subtitled Roberta's Blood Trail, was launched from July 2010 to June 2011. In North America, the anime series was originally licensed by Geneon Entertainment in 2006 and was later acquired by Funimation in 2008, who also licensed the OVA and released it in 2013.
