Radio Ukraine International, abbreviated RUI, is the official international broadcasting station of Ukraine. As a section of the National Radio Company of Ukraine (NRCU) and working from studios located in the heart of the capital city Kyiv, Radio Ukraine International is developing programming and news broadcasts in five languages. The mission of RUI is to acquaint foreign listeners with all diversity of political and social-economic life, current affairs, cultural history, spiritual life, and music of Ukraine. The broadcasts of RUI are also intended to help Ukrainians living abroad to remain informed and in touch with home. The Romanian language broadcasts are produced and transmitted from studio facilities located in Chernivtsi.

BBC News Ukrainian is the Ukrainian service of the BBC which conveys the latest political, social, economical and sport news relevant to Ukraine and the world. It started broadcasts in 1992. Its headquarters are in London, United Kingdom. The first BBC Ukrainian program was aired on 1 June 1992. It featured President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk and UK Prime Minister John Major. It has had an office in Kyiv since 1993 with around ten staff, in 1993 the office was manned by one correspondent. BBC Ukrainian has a few dozen reporters - both in Ukraine and abroad.
TopHit is an internet service for musicians founded in 2003. Originating from Ukraine and Russia, it now works on global scale. It offers a variety of functions, main of them regular statistical music charts based on data from radio broadcasts and musical internet services such as YouTube and Spotify. Musicians are able to upload their songs and promote them via TopHit. The songs from Russian and worldwide singers become aggregated, tested, distributed and rotated on radio using TopHit's capabilities. Promotion of music videos is also available, as well as donations collecting system for supporting artists. Permanent users and partners of TopHit include over 5700 musicians, music groups, DJs and tens of record labels, including Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, BMG, Black Star Inc., Velvet Music and others.
Go_A is a Ukrainian electro-folk band first formed in 2012 who were set to represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with the song "Solovey". Following the cancellation of the 2020 contest due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band represented the country in 2021, this time with "Shum", with which they placed fifth in the final.
A missile strike hit the railway station of the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk on 8 April 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As of 14 April, Ukrainian officials had reported that 59 people were killed and 109 wounded as a result of the attack. The Ukrainian government, its allies and some experts said that the attack was carried out by Russia, while Russia denied it. According to BBC and Bellingcat, the direction that the missile strike came from is unknown as of April 2022.
