The culture of Croatia has historically been influenced by Central European, Mediterranean, and Balkan cultures. Croatia's unique culture and identity can be traced back to the historical llyricum. The Croatian language is believed to have been formed in the 6th or 7th century, with the written language present in Glagolitic texts from the 11th century.
Hrvatska radiotelevizija, or Croatian Radiotelevision, is a Croatian public broadcasting company. It operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. HRT is divided into three joint companies – Croatian Radio, Croatian Television and Music Production, which includes three orchestras and a choir.
The subdivisions of Croatia on the first level are the 20 counties and one city-county.
Matica hrvatska is the oldest independent, non-profit and non-governmental Croatian national institution. It was founded on February 2, 1842 by the Croatian Count Janko Drašković and other prominent members of the Illyrian movement during the Croatian National Revival (1835–1874). Its main goals are to promote Croatian national and cultural identity in the fields of art, science, spiritual creativity, economy and public life as well as to care for social development of Croatia.
The Croatian music festivals are a series of music festivals which showcase the top Croatian musical acts, in both traditional and contemporary music. They usually involve live performances as well as awards given by festival jurors as well as from the fans. The majority of the festivals release a compilation of the songs entered.
The Croatian State Archives are the national archives of Croatia located in its capital, Zagreb. The history of the state archives can be traced back to the 17th century. There are also regional state archives located in Bjelovar, Dubrovnik, Gospić, Karlovac, Osijek, Pazin, Rijeka, Sisak, Slavonski Brod, Split, Varaždin, Vukovar and Zadar.

Television in Croatia was first introduced in 1956. As of 2012, there are 10 nationwide and 21 regional DVB-T television channels, and there are more than 30 other channels either produced in the Republic of Croatia or produced for the Croatian market and broadcast via IPTV, cable, or satellite television. The electronic communications market in Croatia is regulated by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), which issues broadcast licenses and monitors the market. The DVB-T and satellite transmission infrastructure is developed and maintained by the state-owned company Odašiljači i veze (OiV).
The 2010–11 Croatian First Football League season was the 20th edition of the Croatian First Football League, the national championship for men's association football teams in Croatia, since its establishment in 1992. It began on 23 July 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011.
The 1946 Croatian Football Championship was a two-stage competition for clubs from PR Croatia which served as a qualifying tournament for the new post-war First League in communist Yugoslavia, and its inaugural 1946–47 edition.
HNK Rijeka is a Croatian association football club based in Rijeka, which currently competes in the top tier division of Croatian football, Prva HNL. Founded in 1946, they have been a member of Yugoslav First League for 29 out of 45 seasons until its dissolution in 1991, including the last 17 seasons. Following the breakup of Yugoslavia, the club joined the Croatian First League in its inaugural season in 1992, and is one of four founding members that have never been relegated.
The 2019–20 season was the 109th season in Hajduk Split’s history and their twenty-ninth in the Prva HNL.
The 2019–20 season was GNK Dinamo Zagreb's 29th season in the Croatian First Division and 107th year in existence as a football club. In addition to the domestic league, Dinamo Zagreb participated in this season's editions of the Croatian Cup, the Croatian Super Cup, and the UEFA Champions League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 24 July 2020.
Croatian Radio is the official broadcasting service of Croatia. Founded on May 15, 1926 as Zagreb Radio, it's the first radio station in all of Southeast Europe. Part of Croatian Radiotelevision, it operates three national stations, several regional branches and an international service.

The 2020–21 NK Varaždin (2012) season was the club's ninth season in existence and the second consecutive season in the top flight of Croatian football. In addition to the domestic league, Varaždin participated in this season's edition of the Croatian Cup. The season covered the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021.
The Treća nogometna liga, commonly Treća NL or 3. NL, is the fourth tier of the Croatian football league system. The league was reestablished in 2022 following the reconstruction of league system in Croatia. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation.
