Nova TV is a Croatian free-to-air television network launched on 28 May 2000. It was the first commercial television network with national concession in the country. From 2004 until 2018 it was fully owned by the Central European Media Enterprises. In 2018, Direct Media purchased Nova TV and Doma TV.

<i>Hrvatski Idol</i> 2004 Croatian TV series or program

Hrvatski Idol is the Croatian version of Pop Idol. There have been two seasons of Hrvatski Idol. The first one was won by Žanamari Lalić who received 54% of the vote in the final night. Patrick Jurdić won the second season with 50.22% of the vote in the final. Since the number of received phonecalls was only 2.296, Jurdić won with not more than 10 votes over runner-up Lidija Bačić. Both winners did try out on other countries similar casting shows before: Lalić in Germany and Jurdić in both his home country Austria and the Czech Republic. However, both failed to achieve some success on their first tries and were eliminated pretty early in the competition.

Star Search Croatia was a Croatian singing reality competition television series that served as the second Croatian version of Pop Idol. It ran on RTL Televizija for three seasons from 2009 to 2011.

Supertalent is a Croatian reality television talent show series. It is a Croatian iteration of the British talent show Got Talent whose authors are Simon Cowell and Ken Warwick.

Ples sa zvijezdama is a Croatian dance competition television series. It is the Croatian version of the British television series Strictly Come Dancing and is a part of the global Dancing with the Stars television franchise. The series follows various Croatian celebrities paired up with professional dancers competing for the win an elimination-style format.

Viktorija Novosel is a Croatian singer. She rose to fame as the winner of the second season of Supertalent.

Bojan Jambrošić, is a Croatian pop singer who in 2009 won the first season of talent show Hrvatska traži zvijezdu, the Croatian version of Idol series. After his win, he was signed to Dallas Records. The same year, he released his debut album Bolji od ljubavi. He also took part in season 5 of Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars aired on HRT1. His partner was Martina Bastić. They finished third overall out of eight dancing couples. He sang the theme song for TV series Ruža vjetrova, until the show stopped using it in the 160th episode of season 1.

Nina Kraljić is a Croatian singer-songwriter and voice actress. She is known for winning season one of The Voice – Najljepši glas Hrvatske and for being a finalist in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Lighthouse". Kraljić is the winner of the Croatian Porin award for Croatia's best new act of 2016. Her debut album Samo was released on September 30, 2016.

<i>Ples sa zvijezdama</i> season 4 Season of television series

The fourth season of Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian dance competition television series based on Strictly Come Dancing, premiered on 31 October 2009 on HRT 1.

The ninth season of Croatian dance competition television series Ples sa zvijezdama premiered on 3 March and concluded on 2 June 2019 on Nova TV.

The fifth season of Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian dance competition television series based on Strictly Come Dancing, premiered on 30 October 2010 on HRT 1. The winner of the season was Nera Stipičević with her professional partner Damir Horvatinčić.

The sixth season of Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian dance competition television series based on Strictly Come Dancing, premiered 29 October 2011 on HRT 1. The season was won by Marko Tolja and his professional partner Ana Herceg.
