Muar or Bandar Maharani, is a historical town and the capital of Muar District, Johor, Malaysia. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Malaysia to be visited and explored for its food, coffee and historical prewar buildings. It was recently declared as the royal town of Johor by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar and is the fourth largest urban area in Johor. It is the main and biggest town of the bigger entity region or area of the same name, Muar which is sub-divided into the Muar district and the new Tangkak district, which was upgraded into a full-fledged district from the Tangkak sub-district earlier. Muar district as the only district covering the whole area formerly borders Malacca in the northern part. Upon the upgrading of Tangkak district, the Muar district now covers only the area south of Sungai Muar, whilst the northern area beyond the river is in within Tangkak district. However, both divided administrative districts are still collectively and fondly called and referred to as the region or area of Muar as a whole by their residents and outsiders. Currently, the new township of Muar is located in the Bakri area.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rantau Panjang railway station</span>

The Rantau Panjang railway station was a Malaysian railway station located near Jalan Besar and named after the town of Rantau Panjang, Kelantan. Opened in 1921, it is located on the Rantau Panjang branch line, branching off from the main KTM East Coast Line at Pasir Mas. Rantau Panjang is one of the two rail border crossings on the border with Thailand, though currently there is no cross-border train crossing the Malaysia–Thailand border at Rantau Panjang. The Thai entrance to the Harmony rail bridge is currently sealed off by the Royal Thai Army.

Maktab Rendah Sains MARA Pengkalan Chepa, commonly known as MRSM Pengkalan Chepa is one of the pioneer junior science colleges set up by Majlis Amanah Rakyat or MARA in Malaysia. The college was established in 1973 when it admitted its 149 pioneer students who completed their Malaysian Certificate of Examination in 1977. This college is now known as Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Pengkalan Chepa as the college was built on a 17 acres (69,000 m2) land in Pengkalan Chepa, a suburb located at the outskirt of Kota Bharu. MRSM Kota Bharu was inaugurated on 12 August 1975 by Sultan Yahya Petra.

Liga Bolasepak Rakyat was the fourth-tier football league in Malaysia. The league was managed by Liga Bolasepak Rakyat-Limited Liability Partnership (LBR-LLP) and it was an amateur-level competition. It was established in 2015 to provide an alternative entry point for young players. The league has discontinued since 2017 and have been replaced by M4 League.

The 2017–18 Liga Bolasepak Rakyat is the third season of the Liga Bolasepak Rakyat since its establishment in 2015. The league is currently the fourth level football league in Malaysia. There are 100 clubs participating in this season. Clubs from Johor did not participated in this season league.

Pasir Mas District is a district (jajahan) in Kelantan, Malaysia. The district covers an area of 614.15 square kilometers and is bordered by the districts of Tumpat District to the north, Tanah Merah District to the south, Kota Bharu District to the east, and the Thai district of Su-ngai Kolok to the west.

Nik Mohamad Abduh bin Nik Abdul Aziz is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairman of the South Kelantan Development Authority (KESEDAR) since May 2020. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bachok from May 2018 to November 2022 and for Pasir Mas from May 2013 to May 2018. He is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions.
