There are 73 primary schools and 26 secondary schools in Saint Lucia. [1] Sir Arthur Lewis Community College caters to students preparing for Cambridge post-secondary examinations.

All but three of the secondary schools in Saint Lucia are run by the Government of Saint Lucia through the Ministry of Education. St. Joseph's Convent and St. Mary's college are jointly run by the Ministry of Education and the Catholic Board of Education. The Seventh Day Adventist Academy is run by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The International School St. Lucia is affiliated with Canada (New Brunswick and Ontario), The Montessori Centre St Lucia and Bonne Terre Preparatory School are privately run.

All but three of Saint Lucia's secondary schools are co-ed. St. Joseph's Convent is an all girls school. St. Mary's College is an all boys school. The Girl's Vocational School is an all girls school. Ave Maria Primary and RC Boy's primary are the all girls and all boys primary schools respectively.

Saint Lucia's first secondary school, St. Joseph's Convent, was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny in 1854.

The University of The West Indies offers a Challenge programme in Saint Lucia, administered at the campus of Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. Monroe College operates a campus in Saint Lucia.

There are three medical schools in Saint Lucia – American International Medical University, International American University, and Spartan Health Sciences University School of Medicine.

The island nation of Saint Lucia is divided into 10 districts. The name Quarters or Quartiers originally came from the French period in Saint Lucia. The 2001 and 2010 Census of Saint Lucia refers to the first level administrative divisions as districts. The FIPS and ISO standards regularly called these divisions quarters or quartiers in French. The former district of Dauphin Quarter was merged into Gros Islet District and the former district of Praslin Quarter was merged into Micoud District.

Bank of Saint Lucia is a subsidiary of Eastern Caribbean Financial Holding Company. It was formed in July 2001 as a result of the merger between National Commercial Bank and the Saint Lucia Development Bank.

Babonneau is one of the regions of the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia. Babonneau is located in the north of the island in the Castries Quarter. There are extensive rain forests in the region, which is an important source of fresh water for Saint Lucia. Babonneau is also an electoral constituency of Saint Lucia represented in the House of Assembly of Saint Lucia, which extends into Gros Islet District.

Total expenditure on health in Saint Lucia was 6.72% of the GDP in 2014. Health expenditure was at US$302 per capita in 2004. Infant mortality was at 12 per 100,000 births in 2005.

Stephen Alexander Dantes is a Saint Lucian author and Spoken Word artiste who performed at different venues in USA, Canada and Saint Lucia. He is a youth activists and is best known for his poems, 'Fair Helen', 'Rude Boy Reality', 'The Land the People and the Bottle', 'Recreating History', 'Country Boys of Darban', 'Where I'm from there is No Freedom', 'What if Juliet Never Found Romeo' and 'Ode to Love'. Members of the Caribbean Sports fraternity also know Dantes as the co-creator of the first Caribbean Sports website, www.sportcaraibe.net, now discontinued.

The 2019 SLFA Island Cup was an association football cup competition for the island of Saint Lucia. The tournament began on 2 July 2019 and concluded on 21 December 2019.
