Luohu District is a district of Shenzhen located north of the New Territories of Hong Kong, east of Futian District, southeast of Longgang District, southwest of Pingshan District, and west of Yantian District. It is one of the oldest parts of the city, having represented Shenzhen as a fishing village before 1953 and a market town from 1953 to 1979, when Bao'an County was promoted to a prefecture-level city and renamed Shenzhen.

The Korean International School of Shenzhen is a South Korean international school that started in the year 2005. KIS in Shenzhen is located near the Nanshan Mountain, within the Shekou Industrial Zone, Nanshan District. KIS is an independent International school with 300 students, from kindergarten till High school. KIS has only one campus due to the number of people. This number has increased over the years and is still developing.
Dameisha Beach is one of the largest beaches in Shenzhen, China. It is located on the northern shore of Mirs Bay along the Yantian District coastline and was opened to public in 1999. A Sheraton resort is located next to the beach.
