Savoia was a 5,490 ton refrigerated cargo ship which was built in 1922. She was captured by the Royal Navy in 1941 and renamed Empire Arun. In 1947 she was sold and renamed Granlake. Odd I was a 156 GRT Norwegian whaler, launched in 1912 as Dominion II. She was renamed Odd I in 1921 and retained that name until 1963 when she became Annstein, except for a period during World War II when she served as a Vorpostenboot for the German Kriegsmarine under the name Orkan. She was condemned in 1971 and was deleted from the Norwegian Ship Register on 15 March 1971.
Ravelston was an 2,808 GRT cargo ship which was built in 1906 for the Ravelston Steamship Co Ltd. She was requisitioned by the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) in 1941 and renamed Empire Bond. In 1946 she was sold and renamed Prenton. Following a grounding in 1949, she was declared a constructive total loss, but was sold and repaired, returning to service as Agios Dionysissios. In 1951 she was renamed Sandenis and then San Denis, serving until she was scrapped in 1959.
Brittany was a 631 GRT passenger ferry built in 1910 for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. In 1912 she was sold to the London and South Western Railway, passing to the Southern Railway on 1 January 1923. She was renamed Aldershot in 1933. In 1937 she was sold to an Italian owner and renamed Hercules. On 24 November 1941, she was torpedoed and sunk by HMS Triumph.
Ceuta was a 2,719 GRT cargo ship which was built in 1929 for the Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Reederei. She was sunk during an air raid in 1943, but later raised, repaired and returned to service. She was seized as a war prize in 1945, passed to the British Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) and renamed Empire Camel.
Empire Chapman was an 8,194 GRT tanker which was built in 1942 by Harland & Wolff, Belfast for the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT). In 1946 she was sold into merchant service and renamed British Commando. She was scrapped in 1959.
Edenhurst was a cargo ship that was built in 1930 by Furness Shipbuilding Ltd, Haverton Hill-on-Tees for British owners. She was sold in 1937 to Finnish owners and renamed Ilves. In 1939, she was sold to German owners and renamed Glückauf. In 1940 she was sold and renamed Warnow and was requisitioned by the Kriegsmarine in that year. She was seized by the Allies in Rendsburg in May 1945, passed to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) and renamed Empire Conleven. In 1946, she was allocated to the Soviet Government and renamed Alexandr Parkhomenko(Александр Пархоменко). The ship was deleted from Lloyd's Register in 1960.
Mies was a 242 GRT tug that was built as Empire Connie in 1945 by A Hall & Co Ltd, Aberdeen for the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT). In 1946, she was sold to the Royal Netherlands Navy and renamed Mies. In 1947, she was sold to the Government of the Dutch East Indies, passing to the Indonesian Government in 1951 and then the Indonesian Navy in 1953. In 1978, she was sold and renamed Taluk Ambon, serving until 1983 when she was deleted from shipping registers.
Alk was a 1,175 GRT cargo ship that was built in 1924 by Neptun AG, Rostock, Germany for German owners. She was seized by the Allies in May 1945, passed to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) and was renamed Empire Contest. In 1946, she was allocated to the Soviet Union and renamed Vereshyagin (Верещагин). She served until about 1960, being deleted from Lloyd's Register in that year.
The Bernhard Blumenfeld was a 2,879 GRT cargo ship that was completed in 1921 as the SS Dalewood by Eltringham's, Ltd., Willington on Tyne, England. She was sold to a German company in 1923 and renamed the Bernhard Blumenfeld. She was sold again in 1938 and renamed the Carl Jüngst.
Empire Engineer was a 5,358 GRT refrigerated cargo ship that was built in 1921 as Canadian Commander by Canadian Vickers Ltd, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was sold to an Italian firm in 1932 and renamed Giaocchino Lauro. She was seized by the United Kingdom in 1940, passed to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT) and renamed Empire Engineer. She served until 4 February 1941 when she was torpedoed and sunk by U-123.
Kehdingen was a fishing trawler that was built in 1929 as Volkswohl. She was renamed Kehdingen in 1938 and was requisitioned by the Kriegsmarine in 1939. She served until 1944 when she was scuttled off the east coast of Greenland.
Hermann was a Kriegsmarine weather ship that was built in 1929 as the fishing trawler J. F. Schröder. She was renamed Sachsen in 1933 and requisitioned in 1940, serving as WBS 1 Sachsen. She was renamed Hermann in 1942, serving until scuttled off the coast of Greenland in June 1943.
Marilyn Anne is a three-masted auxiliary schooner that was built in 1919 as Frem by her Danish owner. She was sold to Sweden in 1938 and later renamed Vestvåg. In 1958, she was sold to Denmark and renamed Vest. Following her sale to an American owner in 1968, she was renamed Marilyn Anne. In 1977, she became a training ship for disadvantaged Danish children.
V 105 Cremon was a German trawler built in 1922 which was converted into a Vorpostenboot for the Kriegsmarine during World War II.
