The Parliamentary speaker in the Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) is one of the leadership elements in the legislative body elected based on the political parties with the most seats in the DPRD and agreed upon by all members of the DPRD from the various factions. The leadership of the DPRD includes the speaker and deputy speakers. The speaker has the task of leading plenary sessions related to the supervision of the use of Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget, supervising the performance of regional government, and making regional regulations together with the governor of Jakarta. [1]
