The Magic Weekend is an annual event organised by the Rugby Football League in which an entire round of Super League matches is played over a weekend at a single stadium to promote the sport of rugby league.

Hefin O'Hare is a Welsh former professional rugby union and rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for Scotland 7s, and at club level for New Brighton F.C., Leeds Carnegie, Glasgow Warriors, and the Scottish amateur sides Edinburgh Academical Football Club, Dundee HSFP and Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians RFC, as a wing, or centre, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Leeds Rhinos, and Huddersfield Giants, as a fullback, wing, centre, hooker, or loose forward.

Gary Ivan Mercer is a New Zealand rugby league and rugby union coach and former professional rugby league footballer. A New Zealand international representative player, he has spent most of his career in Britain both playing and coaching. He is a former defence coach of Glasgow Warriors and a former coach at the SRU working in their Scottish Rugby Academy. As of March 2016, he was the head coach of Biggar RFC.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Roses rivalry</span>

The term "Roses rivalry" refers to the rivalry between the English counties of Lancashire and Yorkshire. The rivalry originated in the aftermath of the Wars of the Roses (1455–1487) which was fought between the House of Lancaster and the House of York.

The Rugby League Conference (RLC), also known as the Co-operative Rugby League Conference as a result of sponsorship from The Co-operative Group, was a series of regionally based divisions of amateur rugby league teams spread throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

The 2015 Rugby World Cup warm-up matches were a series of rugby union test matches that took place in August and September 2015, as the 20 competing teams prepared for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The 1872 Cup – also known as the 1872 Challenge Cup – is a men's rugby union tournament contested every year between the two Scottish professional clubs, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby.

Craig Sangster, is a Scottish former rugby union player for Glasgow Warriors at the Full Back or Centre position. Rarely he filled in at Fly-half.

Sam Yawayawa is a Fijian born Scottish rugby union player who plays for London Scottish. He was previously at Glasgow Warriors, Leicester Tigers, Boroughmuir and Glasgow Hawks. His usual position is at the Wing position.
