Delhi University, formally the University of Delhi, is a collegiate research central university located in Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly and is recognised as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Delhi University is one of the largest university systems in the world with over 400,000 students on its campuses and affiliated colleges. The Vice President of India serves as the university chancellor. The university is ranked 6th by National Institutional Ranking Framework 2024.
Kirori Mal College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It is ranked 2nd best college for Political Science and 6th best college for Chemistry in India according to India Today both 2024 and 2023 College Ranking.The Chemistry department is well equipped with best labs and finest faculties- 80% of the faculties are IITians, 10% from Foreign Colleges, 7-8% indigenous DU product and 2-3% from other Universities. Other best departments are Maths, Statistics and B. Com. It has also been ranked 9th best college in India according to Central Ministery NIRF ranking 2024 i.e 4th among the top colleges of University Of Delhi. According to NIRF it has invested Rs 363,30,91,509 in year 2021-22 for salaries of teaching and non-teaching staff due to which it has one of the best faculties and facilities all over India. Established in 1954, it is located in the North Campus of the university in New Delhi, India. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and commerce. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited it with a CGPA of 3.54 (A++) in 2023, which is the third highest among all Delhi University colleges.
Bangalore University (BU) is a public state university located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The university is a part of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and affiliated by University Grants Commission (UGC). Bangalore University is accredited by the NAAC with grade A++ in 2023 under the new grading system. Bangalore University was trifurcated into Bengaluru City University and Bengaluru North University.

Deepak Pental is a Professor of Genetics and the Ex Vice Chancellor at the University of Delhi. He is a noted researcher whose current research interests lie in development of transgenics and marker-assisted breeding of crops. He took charge of the post of Vice-chancellor of the University succeeding Professor Deepak Nayyar on 1 September 2005. As the VC, Pental has outlined his agenda to update the library system, work on teachers’ recruitment, increase student accommodation facilities and bring researchers working abroad to India. A new frog species, Minervarya Pentali, discovered in Western Ghats by a team of Delhi University researchers; was named after Pental.
P.K. Abdul Aziz, also known as P. K. Abdul Azis, is a scientist in ecology and biodiversity and an academic from India who has published 77 research papers,. He has been the Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology and Aligarh Muslim University. He is also the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya. He is also the chairman of the Expert Committee for Revision of Curriculum for School Education, appointed by the Kerala government.

Talat Ahmad is an Indian Earth Scientist, former Professor at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi and served as Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Senior Scientist. He served as Chairman of Governing body which oversees Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun from 1 November 2021 onwards and served the office till 31 October 2027. Previously, he commenced his second stint as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir on 6 August 2018 and served the office till 20 May 2022. Before that, he served as Vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, he resigned from the post a few months short of his full term. He was shortlisted by a committee constituted by the governor to shortlist a panel for the post. He had earlier taken over as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir from Professor Riyaz Punjabi on 1 June 2011 and served there until 2014. Prior to this, he was teaching Geology at the University of Delhi.
The vice-chancellor of Banaras Hindu University (VC-BHU) is the chief administrator, and a full-time salaried officer of the Banaras Hindu University. The vice-chancellor derives their powers from sections 7(B) and 7(C) of the Banaras Hindu University Act and from the statutes of the said act.
Tara Chand was an Indian archaeologist and historian specialising in the ancient history and culture of India. He taught at Allahabad University and served as vice-chancellor in the 1940s.
Pritam Babu Sharma is an Indian academician and Vice Chancellor of Amity University, Gurgaon and ex Vice Chancellor of Delhi Technological University. Currently he is heading the Association of Indian Universities as the President. Sharma has a career spanning 44 years of experience in teaching and research, which includes 12 years at IIT Delhi, where he was a Professor of mechanical engineering before taking over as Principal of Delhi College of Engineering in 1990. He led Delhi College of Engineering till 2009, and was then appointed the founder Vice Chancellor of Delhi Technological University (DTU), when Delhi College of Engineering was upgraded to Delhi Technological University through Delhi Act 6 of 2009. He is also the founding Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Anil Kumar Tyagi is former Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi. Prior to this he was co-ordinator of UGC- SAP Programme and head of Department of Biochemistry at South Campus of Delhi University and was Vice President of the Society of Biological Chemists, India from the year 2004 to 2006.

Professor Dinesh Singh, chancellor K.R. Mangalam University is an Indian professor of mathematics. He served as the 21st Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi, is a distinguished fellow of Hackspace at Imperial College London, and has been an adjunct professor of Mathematics at the University of Houston. For his services to the nation he was conferred with the Padma Shri which is the fourth highest civilian award awarded by the Republic of India.

His area of specialization is Medical Anthropology and he focuses on Anthropology of Disasters, Anthropology of Development and on issues related to Social Exclusion and Adverse Inclusion.

He was the former Dean of the Faculty of Legal Studies, at South Asian University and is credited with the establishment of an excellent department for International Law. He has published a famous work on the UN Human Rights Committee. He has published extensively in international journals.
Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar is an Indian academician, electrical engineer and education administrator. He is currently serving as the chairman of University Grants Commission, since February 2022. He is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi. Kumar also served as the VC of JNU from in January 2016 to 2022.
