Yogesh Singh is an Indian academic who is the current and 23rd Vice-Chancellor of University of Delhi. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
He earned his Ph.D. in computer engineering and M.Tech. in electronics and communication engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra,Haryana,India. [6]
He is the former Vice Chancellor of Delhi Technological University (DTU). Prior to joining DTU in 2015,he served as the Director of Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology-NSIT (now known as Netaji Subhash University of Technology) from 2014 to 2017. He served as the Vice-Chancellor of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2011 to 2014. From 2001 to 2006,Professor Singh served as the Dean of Information Technology at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. [7]

Delhi Technological University (DTU),formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a state university in Rohini,Delhi,India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952,it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi. The institute has been under the Government of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. Talat Ahmad is an Indian Earth scientist and former professor at department of Geology,University of Delhi. Currently,he is serving as Chairman of Governing body which oversees Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology,Dehradun from December 2021 onwards and has taken full charge from 1 June 2022. Previously,he commenced his second stint as vice chancellor of University of Kashmir on 6 August 2018 and served the office till 20 May 2022. After serving as vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia,he resigned from the post a few months short of his full term. He was shortlisted by a committee constituted by the governor to shortlist a panel for the post. He had earlier taken over as Vice-chancellor of University of Kashmir from Professor Riyaz Punjabi on 1 June 2011. Prior to this,he was teaching geology at the University of Delhi.

Science and Engineering Research Board is a statutory body under the Department of Science and Technology,Government of India,established by an Act of the Parliament of India in 2009. The Board is chaired by the Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Science and Technology and shall have other senior government officials and eminent scientists as members. The Board was set up for promoting basic research in science and engineering and to provide financial assistance to scientists,academic institutions,R&D laboratories,industrial concerns and other agencies for such research.
