Yogesh Kumar Tyagiis an Indian academic. He is the 22nd Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi. [1] [2] He was the former Dean of the Faculty of Legal Studies,at South Asian University and is credited with the establishment of an excellent department for International Law. Tyagi has published a famous work on the UN Human Rights Committee (Cambridge University Press). He has published extensively in international journals.
Tyagi completed his LLM from the Columbia University School of Law in New York,where he was nominated a Silver Fellow,and obtained his MPhil and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU),New Delhi. [3]
Tyagi is a former Professor of International Law at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is also a Member of l’Institut de Droit International. He has also served as a Member,of the Law Commission of India. He served as Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi from 10 March 2016 to 9 March 2021.

Amitabh Mattoo is one of India's leading thinkers and writers on Modern and Contemporary History,Political science,International relations. He was awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2009. He is Dean of the School of International Studies,Chair &professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University and honorary professor of international relations at the University of Melbourne. Until 19 June 2018,he served as Advisor to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir,with the status of a Cabinet Minister. Mattoo is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the German Institute for Global and Area Studies and was recently elected unanimously as its Deputy Chair. He was the founding CEO of the Australia India Institute at the University of Melbourne and served as chairman of the governing board of Miranda House,University of Delhi,the highest-ranked women's college in India,and served as Chair of Kirori Mal College earlier He has also been a member of the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. In 2002,he was the youngest person to be appointed as vice chancellor of a public university in independent India. Mattoo's advice on policy matters has been sought across political parties and across governments,including by Prime Ministers Atal Behari Vajpayee and Dr Manmohan Singh. Following the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India,he has offered a political roadmap for securing the future of Jammu and Kashmir. He has been a persistent advocate of multiculturalism and of reconciliation between Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Muslims.

Kashyap was honorary constitutional advisor to the Government of India on Panchayati Raj Laws and Institutions. He is also recipient of several prestigious awards for the Best Books in Constitution,Law and Political Science. At present Dr. Kashyap is an honorary research professor at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR),New Delhi. He was also a member of the National Commission to Review the Working of Constitution and chairman of its drafting and editorial committee.
Talat Ahmad is an Indian Earth Scientist,former Professor at the Department of Geology,University of Delhi and served as Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Senior Scientist. He served as Chairman of Governing body which oversees Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology,Dehradun from 1 November 2021 onwards and served the office till 31 October 2027. Previously,he commenced his second stint as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir on 6 August 2018 and served the office till 20 May 2022. Before that,he served as Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia,he resigned from the post a few months short of his full term. He was shortlisted by a committee constituted by the governor to shortlist a panel for the post. He had earlier taken over as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir from Professor Riyaz Punjabi on 1 June 2011 and served there until 2014. Prior to this,he was teaching Geology at the University of Delhi.

Sudhir Kumar Sopory is an Indian educationist,plant physiologist,scientist and former vice chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University,New Delhi. He is known to be the first to purify a protein kinase C activity from plants and is credited with the identification of topoisomerase as a substrate of protein kinase C. He is an elected Fellow of several major Indian science academies and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and is a recipient of many honours,including the 1987 Shanti Swarup Bhatangar Prize,the highest Indian award in the science and technology categories. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri,in 2007,for his contributions to science and technology.
