Literaturpreis des Kulturkreises der deutschen Wirtschaft is a literary prize of Germany. It was established in 1951. [1] From 2009 to 2016 the prize was awarded in the prose, poetry, drama and translation categories. [1] Since 2017 the award was renamed to Literaturpreis "Text & Sprache". The prize is endowed with €20,000. [2]

Friedenspreis des Deutschen Buchhandels is an international peace prize awarded annually by the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels, an association of German book publishers and book sellers, which runs the Frankfurt Book Fair. The award ceremony is held in the Paulskirche in Frankfurt. The prize has been awarded from 1950. The recipient is remunerated with €25,000.

The Nicolas Born Prize, awarded by the German state of Lower Saxony, is a literary prize given since 2000 in honour of the writer Nicolas Born. It is awarded to notable German-language writers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The main prize is currently 20,000 Euros, and since 2015 a further 10,000 Euro prize has been awarded to a debut author.

The Fontane Prize of the City of Neuruppin was donated in 1994 on the occasion of the 175th birthday of Theodor Fontane from his native city of Neuruppin.
