Little Charmers is a Canadian animated television series produced by Nelvana and Spin Master Entertainment for Treehouse TV. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on January 12, 2015, and ended on April 15, 2017. [3] Treehouse TV announced a week later that it was scheduled in Canada on January 31; [4] however, the second episode debuted six days after this announcement, and six days prior to the scheduled debut. 57 episodes were produced.

Merchandise

All 14 toys based on the series were made in Canada, United States, and Europe. [8] Spin Master made toys including dolls, figurines, plushies and RPGs. [9] Additionally, bedding was made by Baby Boom Consumer Products, [9] cake decorations by Bakery Crafts [9] Halloween costumes by Rubie's Costume Company, [9] and other products by Scholastic. [9]

Four games for the series, Charmers in Training, [10] [11] Hazel Eyes, [12] Junior Brooms, [13] [14] and Sparkle Up! [15] [16] were made as well.

Broadcast and home media

Little Charmers premiered on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on January 12, 2015, on Nick Jr. in Australia and New Zealand on May 4, 2015, [17] [18] on Nick Jr. Too in the United Kingdom and Ireland on June 22, [19] on Nick Jr. in Southeast Asia and Europe on July 6, [20] and on 3Kids in Ireland. It was shown in Spacetoon in the Middle East. Until December 2022, Starz Kids & Family also aired the series in every even-numbered month, but only at its first season due to its second and final one being unavailable.

In the mid-late 2010s, eOne released DVDs along with kaBOOM! in North America.

As of 2023, the series is now streaming on Tubi, but not at episodes 21 through 44 (labeled as part of "season 2").

The show's writers took inspiration from action-adventure films, and many episodes are parodies of films.

<i>Go, Diego, Go!</i> American animated childrens television series

Go, Diego, Go! is an American animated children's television series that aired on Nickelodeon from September 6, 2005 to September 16, 2011, with 80 episodes across five seasons. Created and executive produced by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh Valdes, the series is a spin-off of the animated television series Dora the Explorer and follows Dora's cousin Diego, an 8-year-old boy whose adventures often involve rescuing animals and protecting the environment. The series also aired in reruns on Nick Jr. on CBS from September 17, 2005 to September 9, 2006.

Rusty Rivets is a Canadian animated television series, and is produced by Arc Productions and Spin Master Entertainment. The series aired for three seasons, simultaneously on Treehouse TV in Canada and on Nickelodeon in the U.S., from November 8, 2016, to May 8, 2020. Inspired by elements of the maker culture, it follows the adventures of a young inventor named Rusty and his team of customized robots.

Sunny Day is an American animated children's television series produced by Silvergate Media. The series revolves around Sunny, a tween-age hairdresser who runs her own hair salon with the help of her dog Doodle, hair colorist Rox, and receptionist Blair. Sunny's best customers are Timmy, who is in charge of hosting events and shows in Sunny's hometown, and Cindy, the unlucky town chef who has a constant bad hair day. The series is loosely based on the Random House picture book series Fairytale Hairdresser by Abie Longstaff and illustrated by Lauren Beard. Each episode features an original song written by Peter Lurye.

Top Wing is a Canadian animated television series created by Matthew Fernandes of Industrial Brothers. It was produced by 9 Story Media Group. In Canada, the series debuted on Treehouse on January 5, 2018. Nickelodeon acquired the rights to the show outside of Canada, and it premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on November 6, 2017. In the UK, the main cast's voices are dubbed with British voice actors, replacing their original Canadian voices.
