The Blobs was an animated television series based on the books by DC Thomson, published in 1980. It tells the story of a community of colourful paint-splash characters who live in Paintbox Land. The 26-episode series, narrated originally by Jane Horrocks, was produced in 1996 by Siriol Animation in Wales, in association with DC Thomson & Co., Sianel Pedwar Cymru (S4C) and Scottish Television. The series was purchased by TV Ontario in 1999, and was re-voiced by Julie Zwillich for the North American market.

Long Live the Royals is an American animated sitcom miniseries created by Regular Show's writer and storyboard artist Sean Szeles. The miniseries, which aired from November 30 to December 3, 2015, on Cartoon Network, consists of four episodes, each following a member of a fictional British Royal Family as they celebrate the annual Yule Hare Festival. It remains the shortest-running Cartoon Network original series to date, with only four episodes in a single season.
The Rubbish World of Dave Spud is a British children's animated series featuring the surreal adventures of the eponymous Dave Spud of Grimsby, his friends and tower block-dwelling family. It was created and directed by Edward Foster, inspired by his 2003 NFTS student short 'Anna Spud'. It was developed into a pilot in 2010 produced by The Illuminated Film Company. 26 11-minute instalments were commissioned, whilst the soundtrack was composed by electronic group Basement Jaxx. In May 2020, for series 2 a further 52 installments were commissioned. Series 3 is currently in production.
