Little Wills Valley is a valley in DeKalb County, Alabama. [1] It was named after Chief Little Wills, a Native American. [2]

Willstown was an important Cherokee town of the late 18th and early 19th century, located in the southwesternmost part of the Cherokee Nation, in what is now DeKalb County, Alabama. It was near Lookout or Little Wills Creek. It was in Wills Valley, which also incorporated Big Wills Creek. This was within the territory of the Lower Creek, who had crossed into this area in an effort to avoid European-American encroachment.

Pickens is an unincorporated community in western McCurtain County, Oklahoma, United States. The community is in the Silver Creek Valley in the Ouachita Mountains. The community of Clebit lies adjacent to the southwest along Little Silver Creek.

Pinnacle Valley is the northwesternmost neighborhood of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas. The area is to the south of Pinnacle Mountain, one of the highest elevations in Pulaski County. Southern Benedictine College was a Catholic Benedictine college and seminary in Cullman, Alabama. Previously called Saint Bernard College, it closed in 1979. Since then, the campus has since been repurposed into St. Bernard Preparatory School by the religious community of Benedictine monks.

Sand Mountain is a sandstone plateau in northeastern Alabama and northwestern Georgia and southeastern Tennessee where the plateau is known as Raccoon Mountain and Elder Mountain. It is part of the southern tip of the Appalachian mountain chain and it is the largest plateau in the chain. Geologically a continuation of Walden Ridge, Sand Mountain is part of the Cumberland Plateau, separated from the main portion of the plateau by the Tennessee River and Sequatchie Valley. The average elevation on Sand Mountain is around 1,500 feet (460 m) above sea level, compared to about 650 feet (200 m) in the surrounding area. This elevation leads to its having the coolest climate in the state of Alabama. The largest city on Sand Mountain is Albertville, in Marshall County. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 22,386.

Little Wills Creek is a 16.3-mile-long (26.2 km) tributary of Wills Creek in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, in the United States.

The Whitefish River is an 11.9-mile-long (19.2 km) river on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. The mouth of the river is in Delta County at 45°54′34″N86°58′01″W on the Little Bay De Noc of Lake Michigan. The main branch of the river is formed by the confluence of the east and west branches at 46°03′25″N86°52′17″W.

The Gilliland-Reese Covered Bridge, more simply known as Gilliland's Covered Bridge, is a locally owned wooden covered bridge that spans a small pond near Black Creek in Etowah County, Alabama, United States. It is located at Noccalula Falls Park off Noccalula Road in the city of Gadsden. Coordinates are 34°02′21.79″N86°01′26.93″W. Noccalula Falls Park is also home to the 90-foot (27 m) Noccalula Falls, part of Black Creek as it cascades down into a ravine from a ledge off Lookout Mountain. There are a couple of sources which state the bridge spans Clayton Fish Pond, but that is over a mile west of the park along a rural section of Hinds Road.
