Liu Chunxian is Major General of People's Republic of China, serving at the General Staff Department of People's Liberation Army. [1]

Born in 1946, he is a native of Wei County in Hebei Province. [2] He was admitted to the Department of German and Japanese Studies of Beijing Second Foreign Languages Institute in 1965. During his study, Liu was elected delegate of the 9th CPC National Congress in 1969. After graduation, he stayed at the university for further study until December 1972, when he was assigned to the PLA General Staff Department. He served successively as staff officer, division head, Deputy Director and Director General in the military. In 2003, he was elected member of the 10th CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee. [3]

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is the regular armed forces of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the armed wing of the PRC's founding and ruling political party, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In 1988 he was conferred the rank of Major General, in 1994 Lieutenant General and in 2000 General.

Chi Haotian

Chi Haotian, also spelled as Chih Hao-tien is a retired general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He served as Minister of National Defence from 1993 to 2003.

Wang Jianmin is a retired full general of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China. He joined the PLA in June 1962, and the Communist Party of China in September 1963.

Mao Xinyu is a grandson of Mao Zedong and a Major General in the People's Liberation Army.

Zhang Youxia

Zhang Youxia is a general in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China and current the second-ranked Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Central Military Commission (CMC). He previously served as Head of the CMC Equipment Development Department, and its predecessor, the PLA General Armaments Department, from 2012 to 2017. He is the son of General Zhang Zongxun. He is a veteran of the 1979 Sino-Vietnamese War and one of the few serving generals in China with war experience.

Liu Xiaojiang is a retired Chinese admiral who served as Political Commissar of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) from 2008 to 2014. He is the son-in-law of former CPC general secretary Hu Yaobang.

Liu Yalou

Liu Yalou was a general in the Chinese People's Liberation Army who served as the inaugural commander-in-chief of the PLA Air Force During the Chinese Civil War, he was chief of staff of Lin Biao's army group, which occupied the entire Manchuria in 1948 and captured 472,000 Kuomintang troops in the Liaoshen Campaign.

Yang Jinshan is a disgraced general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He served as the Deputy Commander of Chengdu Military Region between July 2013 to October 2014, and Commander of Tibet Military District from December 2009 to July 2013. Yang is a former member of 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, but was expelled from the body in 2014.

Dai Weimin is a former officer in the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He obtained the rank of major general in 2010 and served as deputy dean at the PLA Nanjing Political College. He was investigated by the PLA's anti-graft agency in November 2014.

Liu Zheng is a former lieutenant general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He served as Deputy Head of the PLA General Logistics Department. In November 2014 he was placed under investigation by the PLA's anti-corruption agency.

Miao Hua is an admiral of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). He has served as director of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission since October 2017. Previously he served as political commissar of the PLA Navy from December 2014 to September 2017, and political commissar of the Lanzhou Military Region in 2014.

Gao Jin is a general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). Since April 2019 he has served as Director of the Logistic Support Department of the Central Military Commission. Prior to that, he served as the inaugural commander of the PLA Strategic Support Force from 2016 to 2019, President of the PLA Academy of Military Science, and Chief of Staff of the Second Artillery Corps, where he spent most of his career.

Liu Zhenwu is a retired general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). He was the first Commander of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison, and later served as Deputy Commander and Commander of the Guangzhou Military Region, and Deputy Chief of the PLA General Staff Department.

Wang Bingzhang (general)

Wang Bingzhang was a Chinese Communist revolutionary and a founding lieutenant general of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). He joined the Northwest Army of the warlord Feng Yuxiang in 1929, before participating in the Ningdu uprising and defecting to the Communist Red Army in 1931. He fought in the Red Army's Long March, the Second Sino-Japanese War where he was credited with devising a trench warfare tactic that helped destroy enemy pillboxes, and the Chinese Civil War.

Hu Wei was a Chinese Communist revolutionary and a major general of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). He fought in the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Chinese Civil War, and the Korean War, and was commander of the PLA's 61st Division in the Battle of Dengbu Island (1949). He later served as commander of the 21st Army, deputy commander of the Lanzhou Military Region, deputy director of the Revolutionary Committee of Shaanxi Province, director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission, and deputy chief of staff of the PLA.
