Liu Dan (born 29 August 1989) is a Chinese female volleyball player. She was part of the China women's national volleyball team.

She participated in the 2013 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. On club level she played for Guangdong Evergrande in 2013. [1]

<span class="mw-page-title-main">FIVB Women's Volleyball Club World Championship</span> International womens club volleyball competition

The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.

Chen Zhaodi was a Chinese volleyball player, coach, and military general. She was a key member of the Chinese national team that won the 1981 FIVB World Cup and the 1982 FIVB World Championship. After retiring as a player in 1983, she served as assistant coach and later team manager for the national team, and as head coach for the national women's junior team. She later became Director of the Culture and Sports Bureau of the People's Liberation Army General Political Department and was awarded the rank of major general, making her the only Chinese sportsperson to become a military general. Chen suffered from cancer and died in 2013 at the age of 57.
