Live and Unplugged is the debut live album and second acoustic release by American rock band Sleeping with Sirens. It was released on April 8, 2016 worldwide by Epitaph. The lead single, a different version of "Gold", a track from the band's previous album, Madness (2015), was released on February 12, 2016.
The band's fourth studio album, Madness, was followed with a world tour with Pierce the Veil. After which, the band embarked on an acoustic tour, named We Like It Quiet (a reference to the song "We Like It Loud" from the group's previous album) with a sound similar to the band's first acoustic endeavour, If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack . However, the two releases differed in that Live and Unplugged made use of more than just acoustic guitars, and has more of an alternative rock sound than the soft rock of the former.
The lead single was released via Twitter and gave fans a taste of how the album would sound. In an interview with Kerrang!, Kellin Quinn announced that it would be different due to the fact that the group's 'live dynamic is very different (in a good way) compared to [the band's] studio sound'.
The album was met with critical acclaim. Hit the Floor gave it an almost perfect 9/10 rating, stating 'Sleeping With Sirens did a phenomenal job at keeping their tracks fun and fresh in their acoustic, unplugged state'. [1]
It charted at number four on the UK Rock Charts.

Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed by singer Brent Smith in 2001 after the dissolution of Dreve, his previous band. Smith, still under contract with record label Atlantic Records, recruited the band's original lineup of Jasin Todd as guitarist, Brad Stewart on bass, and Barry Kerch on drums. Consistent for the first two album cycles, a few lineup changes followed in the late 2000s, eventually stabilizing with Smith and Kerch alongside Zach Myers on guitar and Eric Bass on bass. "Heaven Beside You" is a song by American rock band Alice in Chains and the second single from their third studio album, Alice in Chains (1995). It was written by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell about his relationship with his then-girlfriend, Courtney Clarke. Cantrell sings lead vocals, with Layne Staley doing harmonies during the chorus. The song spent 26 weeks on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and peaked at No. 3. An acoustic version performed on Alice in Chains' MTV Unplugged in 1996 was released in a live album and DVD. With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear is the debut studio album by American rock band Sleeping with Sirens. It was released on March 23, 2010, through Rise Records. The album debuted at number 7 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, and at number 36 on Top Independent Albums. It received praise in particular for singer Kellin Quinn's vocals. This is also the only release by the band to feature guitarists Nick Trombino and Brandon McMaster, who have since been replaced by Jesse Lawson and Jack Fowler respectively.
