Live at Oak Mountain is a live DVD concert of the band, Widespread Panic, filmed at Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham, Alabama on August 12, 2000.
Widespread Panic is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia. The current lineup includes guitarist/singer John Bell, bassist Dave Schools, drummer Duane Trucks, percussionist Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz, keyboardist John "JoJo" Hermann, and guitarist Jimmy Herring. The band's original guitarist and sometime songwriter, Michael Houser, died of pancreatic cancer in 2002, and the original drummer, Todd Nance, left in 2016 and died in 2020.
Don't Tell the Band, is the seventh studio album released by the Athens, GA based band Widespread Panic. It was released on June 19, 2001, in two forms, a single disc and a double disc release. It was the second release through the band's own label, Widespread Records, in conjunction with UK-based label Sanctuary Records. The album covered a wide variety of styles, from rock to Latin and grunge to soul, yet did not depart from this jam band's signature sound.
Black Oak Arkansas is an American Southern rock band formed in Black Oak, Arkansas. Originally named The Knowbody Else, they formed in 1963 and changed their name to Black Oak Arkansas in 1970. The band achieved peak popularity and success during the 1970s in their hometown of Black Oak. Their style is defined by multiple guitarists and the raspy voice of Jim "Dandy" Mangrum, who is the only original remaining member of the group.
Americans Abroad!!! Against Me!!! Live in London!!! is Against Me!'s first live album, released on Fat Wreck Chords even though the band was signed to Sire Records at the time. It was recorded on March 21, 2006 at the Mean Fiddler venue in London, England. The band played songs stretching as far back as their 2001 The Acoustic EP, all the way to their 2005 album Searching for a Former Clarity. The album also features the previously unreleased track, Americans Abroad, which would go on to be recorded for their 2007 album New Wave. The DVD features over two hours of music as well as backstage footage and interviews with the band. The DVD was recorded less than a month after the final performance of lead guitarist Michael Houser, who would shortly die from pancreatic cancer. George McConnell, who would later officially succeed Houser, plays lead guitar throughout the performance but is credited on the DVD as a "special guest."
Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons are an Australian blues and rock band that features the singer, songwriter and saxophonist Joe Camilleri. The band was active in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and had several Australian chart hits including "Hit and Run", "Shape I'm In" and "All I Wanna Do". The Falcons dissolved in 1981 and the group's biggest Australian hit, 1982's "Taxi Mary", as well as the New Zealand top ten hit "Walk on By", were both credited simply to "Jo Jo Zep". In 1983, Camilleri and other members of the Falcons formed the Black Sorrows.
